Taylor Armstrong Claims She Stopped Watching ‘RHOBH’ Because of Lisa Vanderpump & Kyle Richards!

Taylor Armstrong is coming out to say that she no longer watches The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

Taylor Armstrong made Housewives history when it was announced that she was joining season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County as a “friend-of.” Taylor, who is currently married to John Buhler, is the first Housewife to move from one franchise to another having been on several seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During an interview with Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Taylor opened up about why she no longer watches the show.

Armstrong said, “I do not watch the Housewives shows. And not because I don’t think they’re great, but it’s truly, it’s so hard for me to see my friends argue with one another because I know what those feelings are like and it almost brings up an anxiety for me, especially when Kyle and Lisa were still on the show.” Taylor’s time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wasn’t a bed of roses. At the time she, was married to ex, Russell Armstrong, who was abusing her. Her friends, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards, were there to support her during the tough time after Rusell committed suicide. Taylor added, “I was just waiting for that to blow up, eventually. And it would have been just way too painful for me to judge.”

Taylor said that it would have been painful to watch her friends fight with each other, so she thought it would be better to wait until after the “puppy gate scandal” to watch. “I care for both of them and when they’re together and things are good, they’re absolutely hysterical… But you know, it’s hard to have two queens.” During her interview, Armstrong was quizzed on whether she would try to reconcile Lisa and Kyle, and admitted it was a terrifying idea. “Part of me likes it. I would say, sometimes we say on TV, the producer in me thinks it’s a great idea. The human being in me finds it terrifying.”

Armstrong said both Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars would be upset about a secret meeting, but she fears Lisa Vanderpump’s reaction more than Kyle Richards. “I don’t know that I would push her buttons as much as I could probably push Kyle’s a little bit more.” Taylor made her debut on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2010 and stayed on the reality show for three seasons.
