‘RHOBH’ Star Kathy Hilton Slammed for Comparing Lizzo to ‘Precious’ Actress Gabourey Sidibe!
Kathy Hilton is feeling the heat after she mistook singer, Lizzo, for “Precious” actress, Gabourey Sidibe, during a Wednesday appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star participated in a game called “Will! Kathy! Know Them!?” and was asked to identify Lizzo. The segment went sideways when Kyle Richards’ sister responded—“I think I do…,” before guessing “Precious?”
Gabourey Sidibe played a character named “Precious” in the 2009 film titled the same name.
After Kathy’s incorrect answer sparked laughter from host, Andy Cohen, and other guests on the set, the reality star tried to smooth things over.
“That’s what I call [Lizzo]…Her nickname is “Precious” to me,” she said.
Kathy’s comeback didn’t cut it with Lizzo fans, who immediately took to social media to rip into the Bravo star for the gaffe.

One person wrote on Twitter—“I’m gonna need you to clear this woman [Lizzo].”
Another fan tweeted—“Yeah [Lizzo] please check this woman, I’m sorry just by her answer and the response from the crowd and then to follow up with that statement. Please read this old white entitled, out of touch woman. This is not funny, and AC nah.”
One WWHL viewer said—“This ain’t cute or laughable…I need her to do better.”
Another advised the Bravo star—“[Kathy Hilton] ‘no’ is the answer you’re looking for.”
One user quipped—“Sometimes silence is better.”
Another predicted—“Kathy isn’t going back on [WWHL].”
Kathy has not been a prominent presence on Season 12 but has landed in the center of lots of social media drama, in real-time.
The 63-year-old was most recently accused of putting out a false feud between herself and RHOBH co-star, Lisa Rinna.
In June, Rinna accused Kathy of hiring a marketing manager to manufacture the cast feud that played out online, earlier this year.
In June, Rinna posted screenshots of a direct message exchange that seemingly occurred between marketing pro, Patrick Somers, and Bravo fan account “Your Moms Are Watching” in which he implied that Kathy had hired him to smear Rinna in the press.
“I have tea. I just DMed with Patrick Somers, that kid that sent Rinna a text last weekend threatening her,” the fan account wrote on Instagram on Thursday, June 2. “Rinna then posted the text and the kid posted Rinna’s number and it became a big thing. Well, he just admitted to me KATHY HILTON PAID HIM TO DO THIS.”
Patrick seemingly exposed his alleged arrangement with Kathy, in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“My latest assignment was executed against Lisa Rinna. I never reveal a clients [sic] personal information per my NDA agreement,” he wrote. “My latest marketing campaign was to draw attention away from my client … That’s exactly what I did. All narratives associated with my latest campaign are false. I was compensated $27,527.72 for my work.”
Sources later denied that Kathy had any involvement in the scandalous story.
