Kanye West Declares Pete “Skete” Davidson Dead After Breakup with Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian!
Kanye West is roasting Pete Davidson only days after the comedian’s split from his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
On Monday, the rapper posted a mock cover of the New York Times with the headline—“Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28.”
Kanye began calling his ex’s new boyfriend “Skete” after the duo started dating, in November 2021. The musician went on multiple tirades about the Saturday Night Live personality and demanded that he not be allowed to meet his children.
Kanye and Kim share four children, North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
Kim repeatedly tried to convince Kanye to shut down his rants about her new romance, claiming that he was endangering them by stirring up his massive fanbase. Kanye kept up his online antics but eventually told his followers to not “do anything physical” if they ever crossed paths with the comedian.
In February, Kanye called Pete “a d**khead” weeks after the artist rapped about beating the comedian’s ass in a collaboration song with The Game.
Kanye explained why he was at odds with collaborator, Kid Cudi, for being friendly with “Skete.”
“THE REASON I ASKED CUDI TO AT THE LEAST SPEAK TO SKETE IS BECAUSE FOR YEARS CUDI ALWAYS MADE IT SEEM LIKE IT WAS ME AND HIM AGAINST EVERYONE,” Kanye alleged. “NOW THAT IM FIGHTING FOR MY FAMILY HE NOT BY MY SIDE THIS IS BIGGER THAN MUSIC.”
He continued—“I WOULD HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR THE LOYALTY IF IT WAS NEVER OFFERED AND I FOUND A COOL PICTURE CAUSE I LOVE CUDI AND ALWAYS WILL BUT DONDA2 IS ABOUT RUNNING BACK IN THAT BURNING HOUSE I RESPECT NOT EVERYONE GONNA BE READY FOR THE SMOKE.”
Kim and Kanye have been embroiled in a divorce for over a year. The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star filed her divorce petition in February 2021, in Los Angeles Superior Court. In March, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Steve Cochran declared Kim legally single from the artist. Kim originally filed her request to become legally single in December 2021.
Kim wrote—“I ask that the court restore me to the status of a single person so that I can begin the healing process and so that our family can begin the healing process and move forward in this new chapter in our lives.”
The ruling resulted in Kim dropping “West” as her last name and going back to using her surname “Kardashian.” However, the ruling did not appear to speed up the settlement process.
Kanye was recently dropped by famed lawyer, Samantha Spector, amid the ongoing legal war.
“There has been an irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship,” Spector said in a filed declaration.
Many believe that Kim’s breakup with Pete will only fuel the rapper’s desire to win back the Hulu star. Kim has given no public indication that she would be on board with a reconciliation.
