Inside Teresa Giudice & Luis Ruelas’ CRAZY Wedding… Family Drama and Tre Looked A MESS!

Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, tied the knot with Luis “Louie” Ruelas on Saturday, in an extravagant ceremony at Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in East Brunswick, N.J.

Teresa, 50, walked down the aisle wearing a form-fitting strapless dress, a long veil, and an embellished crown, while Luis, 47, wore a tux with black pants and a white jacket. Bravo stars from almost every “Housewives” franchise attended the lavish event, including Teresa’s co-stars, Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin, who served as bridesmaids. Teresa’s four daughters—Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, were also bridesmaids. RHONJ stars, Margaret Josephs, Jackie Goldschneider, and rumored RHONJ newbie, Danielle Cabral, all attended the wedding. Bravo executive, Andy Cohen, also watched the Jersey lovebirds swap vows. 

“I will love you for a million tomorrows,” Teresa told her groom, before their first kiss as a married couple.

The space was decorated with lots of white with gold accents. The decor featured two massive hearts made of white flowers. 

Teresa’s Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip co-stars, Luann de Lesseps, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, and Ramona Singer were also invited to the wedding bash. Ramona landed in hot water weeks before the ceremony after leaking the exact date, time, and location of the event.

Teresa and Luis got engaged in Greece in October 2021, about a year after Teresa finalized her divorce from her ex, Joe Giudice. 

The highly anticipated event, which was reportedly filmed as part of a Bravo spinoff special, did not play out without drama. Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife and Teresa’s co-star, Melissa Gorga, 43, did not attend the wedding. The family reportedly hit some bumps during filming season which caused a reported rift. 

“There was a very tense ‘Housewives’ finale filmed earlier this week,” a source told Page Six, last week. 

A second insider alleged that Teresa had been spreading a rumor that would “cause drama” within Joe and Melissa’s marriage. The snitch added that Joe and Luis had been butting heads and that the finale incident sealed the deal. 

Joe took to social media on the eve of his sister’s nuptials to seemingly vent about the family turmoil. The reality star wrote—“BLOOD DOESN’T MAKE YOU FAMILY” over a photo of himself with his wife, family, and friends. 

Teresa confirmed back in March that Melissa would not be serving as one of her bridesmaids. The boutique owner appeared to take her sister-in-law’s decision in stride, but Joe called the declaration disrespectful. 

“Regardless if she liked my wife or she didn’t like my wife, she’s basically smacking me in the face, and she’s giving me no respect, and she’s making it hard on me,” Joe said during a May episode of his wife’s podcast, “Melissa Gorga on Display.”

Fans had plenty to say about the splashy ceremony and Teresa’s wedding day look. The reviews were mixed, with some fans cheering the over-the-top Jersey vibe and others dissing the showy display.   

One fan wrote on Twitter—“Teresa is giving us Jersey Cindy Lou Who with this wedding hair..” 

Another added—“Whoever let Teresa walk down the isle looking like “my big fat gypsy wedding” y’all are NOT her friends!!”

A third chimed in—“Y’all are lying saying Teresa looks sooo good in her wedding. She’s giving American gypsy vibes. IYKYK.”

One person tweeted—“And for the final trick of the day,  Teresa’s hair will release three French hens, two turtle doves and a Partridge in a pear tree The carnival is across the street, after all.”

Another wrote—“Whoever did Teresa‘s hair for her wedding should be jailed as a menace to society.”

Bravo is expected to air the wedding after the conclusion of Season 13 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
