Teddi Mellencamp Throws Shade At Vicki Gunvalson Not Being Asked Back On ‘RHOC!’
Teddi Mellencamp, 41, reacted to Vicki Gunvalson not being hired back by Bravo!
Teddi’s co-host, Tamra Judge, 54, recently announced she was returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County. In an interview with Us Weekly, Teddi admitted that she was worried about how Vicki Gunvalson would take the news. The Two T’s in a Pod host added that going through rejection is hard for everyone but you just have to process it. “I think whenever you feel a rejection, it’s hard and you have to process it. But I do know that… all I felt was excitement for [Tamra] to get a job that she’s really great at doing and I wanna support her. But I mean, [Vicki]… she’s a lot.”
Vicki, 60, was fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County after season 14. Teddi also said that she wasn’t surprised Vicki wasn’t asked to return to the Housewives franchise due to her personality. Despite this, Teddi did reveal that viewers might see Vicki Gunvalson now that Tamra is back on the show. However, she added, “In my opinion, seeing Tamra for a little bit without Vicki will show a different side of Tamra.” When Vicki went on her podcast with Tamra in June, she said that she didn’t like the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. Teddi said Vicki didn’t like her because of her friendship with Tamra.
“[It’s] not jealousy of who I am, but jealousy of the closeness that Tamra and I were effortlessly able to get.” Teddi claimed. The Two T’s in A Pod host continued, “[Tamra] and I met a couple of times before the podcast, but [as] soon as we joined forces, we had so much fun, and it was just an effortless friendship… and I think [Vicki] could probably feel that. And I think there was a part of her that was annoyed.” Teddi also said that Vicki had always been this antagonistic towards her even before she was on the podcast. “She [was] like, ‘I don’t really [like you], I’m jealous. How much are you guys paying me to be here?’ I’m like … ‘You want me to Venmo you?’ And then she was pissed that I didn’t! I’m like, ‘I don’t pay anyone. Talk to [iHeartRadio].’”
