#RHOA Star Marlo Hampton Came Close To Calling The Cops On Kenya Moore!
Marlo Hampton wanted to bring the police into her feud with Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Kenya Moore, during their cast trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Marlo spilled some behind-the-scenes tea during a recent appearance on RHOA: After Show.
Kenya responded after learning that Marlo almost called the cops on her during the cast getaway.
“Marlo was saying that she was going to call the police on me if I was not there by 9 o’clock,” she said. “She was serious. She was trying to call the police on me.”
Kenya continued, calling out her co-star’s seemingly dramatic behavior.
“[And] what are you gonna say? Please show me how you’re the owner or the renter of this establishment so you can be able to tell somebody if they’re trespassing or not. Please,” Kenya continued. “You don’t want people calling the police on you, which they have done in the past, so don’t please act like you’re gonna call the police on me.”
Marlo spoke out about her issues with Kenya during a recent appearance on HollywoodLife’s podcast, “Pay Attention Puh-Lease!”
Marlo began by telling her side of the story regarding the drama that boiled over in Blue Ridge.
“I felt before she came, everything was positive. We were all opening up and talking, and then the person with the low self-esteem came in trying to get all the attention,” Marlo told the outlet. “[She] had to have a moment, run around the house like she was 4 years old. It was distasteful and sad. It’s like, ‘Girl, you can never have a real moment.’ We are on reality. We are having our real story and sometimes I just want her to be real. You know when people are truly genuine or not and I think she’s not genuine.”
Marlo added that her argument with Kenya dragged on for hours and that Bravo cut a lot of exchanged vitriol.
“So many things were said that were awful. She [Kenya] started it and you know I finished it,” Marlo said. “It’s a lot of things that we both said I hope she regrets and I regret. But it was a fight, there was no ruse to it, and it was awful. It was really, really bad. She went low first, and then I just tried to go as low as I could go. I went a little lower, probably.”
Marlo blasted Kenya for “constantly digging” at her and for trying to portray a fake friendship.
“You use me when it’s convenient,” Marlo remarked. “You befriend me when it’s convenient for you. I’m tired of it. Me not being your friend, I’m not missing out on anything.”
Marlo confirmed that she and Kenya do not make amends later in the season.
“That’s a hard no,” Marlo said about a potential reconciliation with her co-star. “I can’t do anything but stay fabulous and keep her upset.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 pm ET, on Bravo.
