Andy Cohen made fun of how badly former housewife, Jill Zarin, wants to be back on Bravo!

During an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he announced to viewers that Taylor Armstrong was returning to the network but not on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Instead, Taylor will be cast on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Andy explained on the Monday episode that Taylor now lives in Orange County, so it would be the perfect fit for her. He also added that Armstrong would be the first-ever housewife to move from one city to another.

After his announcement, Cohen took a jab at another former housewife who has been eager to return to Bravo. He said, “In unrelated news, Jill Zarin is closing on new homes in Potomac, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Orange County, Atlanta, Miami, Dubai, and Salt Lake City.” Andy then finished with, “Just kidding I love you, Jill.” The Bravo producer was referencing Jill’s desire for years to be back on the network. Zarin is one of the OG cast members from The Real Housewives of New York and appeared in the first four seasons.

When Bravo announced in March that they were planning to produce a Real Housewives of New York Legacy series, she made her desperation to join very clear. Jill put a phone emoji in the comment section but said later on that she didn’t get the phone call from Andy or the network. Zarin spoke to TMZ and said, “No I haven’t heard from anybody. Now if everybody’s been called and I wasn’t, then, of course, I’d be a little hurt, but no, no one’s been called.” Jill did appear on Peacock’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex Wives Club alongside other OG housewives.

Jill said in a July interview that she had asked to be brought back years ago but they told her “no.” She said, “I actually was very hurt when, a couple of years ago, I spoke to Bravo about coming back to some extent, and they said to me (it doesn’t matter who) that I didn’t really fit in anymore, meaning that it was a different cast.” Bravo fans reacted to Andy’s shady comment on Watch What Happens Live. One person tweeted, “It’s a unique level of audacity to shade the person you gave a job to in another franchise?!? Like sir???” Another said, “Jill was a good sport with the other girls calling her thirsty on UGT but this feels like it’s a little too far coming from him. He’s busy hiring back everyone that was poorly behaved.”
