The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star spoke out on Sunday through her Twitter account about all she went through while working with Bravo. Nobody is stupid!” She also added, “This treatment has been going on for years!”

NeNe’s next tweet had a lot of fans raising eyebrows. The reality star said, “Just remember abusers want power over their victims!” She added, “They want to break you! Most abuse takes place behind closed doors (hint: this is why you don’t know or see everything) In the surface it looks fine right.” NeNe also claimed that a lot of people behind the scenes were complicit in her treatment while working on set of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Shortly after filing the lawsuit against Bravo, Leakes claimed she only sued the network two years after she was fired because she felt like it was “the right time.” NeNe also explained, “But I was constantly being retaliated against, being blacklisted, not able to work, being silenced, and so, you know, it was difficult to do.” According to the former RHOA star, she realized she was blacklisted in the industry after she “suddenly” found herself “not working” after years of being “sought after.”

NeNe Leakes also has “BLACKLISTED” written on her bio.

Nene was allegedly in talks with Andy Cohen to potentially settle the discrimination lawsuit. An Atlanta judge granted the parties a 45-day extension until August 19 after the defendants requested more time to negotiate their dispute. According to court documents, despite NeNe disagreeing with the “arbitration’ process, it states that both parties are “in the process of negotiating this issue in an attempt to avoid the time and expense of a motion to compel arbitration” through their respective counsel.”

Fans reacted to NeNe’s claims of being blacklisted on Twitter and said, “She self blacklisted herself. It’s a no-brainer. Any company doesn’t have to be told not to hire NeNe Leakes they gonna think twice about hiring her anyway because of how she turns on them. There’s always somebody else to hire that doesn’t have the drama behind them.”
