Porsha Williams and Candiace Dillard’s Feud Reignites As ‘Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’ Cast Members!

A resurfaced feud is brewing between two “Housewives” who have come together to film Season 3 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, Porsha Williams, replaced Real Housewives of New York star Tinsley Mortimer, and that might spell trouble in paradise for Real Housewives of Potomac star, Candiace Dillard-Bassett.

Porsha and Candiace, along with Heather Gay and Whitney Rose from the Salt Lake City franchise, Leah McSweeney from New York, Miami’s Marysol Patton and Alexia Nepola, and RHOP star, Gizelle Bryant, make up the Season 3 cast. 

Porsha and Candiace have had issues in the past, which stemmed from comments Porsha made about Candiace’s past lawsuit against her former co-star, Monique Samuels. 

Fans know that a conflict between Candiace and Monique turned physical at a cast gathering, during Season 5. Candiace filed charges against her cast mate and Monique, who had to be dragged off Candiace during the incident, responded by filing counter-assault charges. All charges were later dismissed, but that didn’t stop Porsha from weighing in on the legal drama. 

Porsha joked that Candiace was suing Monique in order to buy a new house, during an episode of Bravo’s Chat Room. Candiace was not amused and put out a response. 

“I don’t know Porsha, I’ve never met her, I know her through the television like everyone else,” Candiace said. “I never had an issue prior to being sent a clip of her on ‘Chat Room ‘with my cast mate Gizelle, lying and spreading information-damning, defaming information-about me alleging I was trying to sue Monique to secure a down payment on my home.”

She later added—”I responded in an interview because it’s one thing to defend your friend, it’s one thing to talk general smack about me in defense of your friend, but when you flat-out lie, yes I’m going to address it. She should be very careful about the lies that she tells. It’s a dangerous move.”

Porsha was involved in several altercations that turned physical during her long run on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Porsha scrapped with Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, and a former friend named Jaime. Kenya even sued Porsha for assault but eventually dropped the charges. 

Candiace took aim at Porsha during a December 2020 appearance on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast.

“So you’ve seen people push the line…but never really cross it outside of Porsha –who…is proven herself to be the sidekick of all,” the reality star said.

 

“I guess Monique would be Porsha’s sidekick,” she added. “And just the two wild people defending each other, which is very cute. But you, you know the line when you have sense, and as I like to say scruples, and when you don’t…it shows. It shows how you were raised and who you really are.”

Gizelle hinted that things were off to a friendly start with the mashup cast, posting a group photo, on Thursday. The pic, snapped in Thailand, revealed Candiace and Porsha standing beside each other with big smiles on their faces.
