Matt Roloff is selling the land he purchased from his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, for more than triple the price. The Little People, Big World star listed a 16-acre section of Roloff Farms for a jaw-dropping $4 million, on May 12.

TLC cameras documented Amy selling Matt 32.28 acres of the family property in August 2020, for a purchase price of $975K. The Sun reports that Matt took out a loan in the amount of $825K in order to buy the land. Matt listed 16 acres of the same land for $4 million, after sprucing up the spacious farmhouse and surrounding property. The Washington County Oregon Assessor’s Office estimated the value of the 32.28 acres at $1,834,520.

The main house boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a six-car garage, and an in-ground pool. The listing includes the large TLC-famous red barn.

The season finale of the TLC show featured a showdown between Matt and Amy, addressing Matt’s feud with twin sons, Zach and Jeremy Roloff, over the future of the property.

“I think you went crazy or something. I don’t know the details of the negotiation with the two boys. For the price it is, the kids can’t afford that,” Amy told her ex.

Matt replied—“The good news is, there is 93 acres for this family.”

Amy fired back—“No, there are 93 acres for Matt Roloff. It’s not part of the family anymore.”

The TLC show kicked off in the wake of the failed negotiation between Matt and Zach, sparking a rift that continued throughout the season.

Zach and Matt both shared their sides of the story, during the premiere episode.

“My dad was definitely encouraging the conversation, [wife] Tori and [Matt’s girlfriend] Caryn [Chandler] came too,” Zach said.

He continued—“The north side is the 30 acres my mom and dad shared, and the whole thing was weird, he starts making excuses… suddenly me and my wife are not good enough to run the farm.”

“Whether we don’t have the money, don’t have the skillset…” Tori chimed in. “It wasn’t cool, I never wanna see someone talk to my husband like that ever.’”

Zach and Tori made a seemingly swift decision to move from their Oregon home turf to a new house in Battle Ground, Washington, which only widened the family divide.

Jeremy made his own offer on the property ahead of his twin brother and also failed to secure a deal. He has since purchased his own farm with his wife, Audrey.

Fans have since wondered if youngest son, Jacob, could be in the running to take over the farm, as Matt nears retirement. Jacob is often seen in photos, doing tasks around the property with his father.
