Kyle Richards Says It’s ‘Very Difficult’ to Film ‘RHOBH’ With Kathy Hilton and Kim Richards!

Kyle Richards has spoken out about how it really is filming a reality show with her sisters, Kathy Hilton and Kim Richards.

Kyle Richards, 53, has had her fair share of drama involving her sisters while filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle joined the Bravo series in Season 1, alongside her sister, Kim Richards. At first, the pair were doing well and working on their relationship before past family issues were brought up. At one point in season 1, Kyle called Kim an alcoholic and said their mother died while “stressing” about Kim. Kim, 54, eventually left the show as a full-time cast member after five seasons. 

While in Australia, Kyle went on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show and spoke about her experience filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with her siblings. The reality star admitted that it can get difficult between them when tensions hit on set. “When my sister Kim was on, it was great, and then it was awful. It was one of the worst times on the show for me ever,” she said. Kyle also spoke about her relationship with sister,  Kathy Hilton.

“With Kathy, I was like, ‘It’s gonna be great, we’re gonna have fun.’ And we really did last season. And of course, something happened this season, but we are sisters. We’re blood. So, we’ll always come back together again at the end of the day.” Kathy, 63, joined the show as a “friend of” during Season 11 and she said at the time that Kim loves it. While speaking to Andy Cohen, Kathy added “You know, I called her, and I talked to her about it. I said, ‘What do you think?’ And she said, ‘Yeah, just don’t lose your temper.’” Kyle also said during her recent interview that she has shared too much of her personal life on the show already.

“But they’re following us around, they know what’s going on in our lives behind the cameras and inevitably it always comes out, but that is what it is,” she added. “That’s part of the downside.” The recent RHOBH trailer shows a moment where Kyle and sister Kathy seemed to have been fighting with each other. Lisa Rinna chimes in and says, “You said something about this beautiful sister of yours. I’m sorry, Kathy. You’re not going to get away with it.” Kyle then said through tears, “I feel like you hate me or something. How could you say those things?” Despite their fight, Kyle Richards revealed in May that she is back on speaking terms with her sisters.
