Teddi Mellencamp Chimes In On Erika Jayne Cussing At Garcelle’s Son!
Teddi Mellencamp had a few things to say about what Erika Jayne did to Garcelle Beauvais‘ son!
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Teddi, got a lot of criticism from fans when she reacted to Erika’s attitude towards Garcelle Beauvais’ 14-year-old son, Jax. Teddi, 41, suggested that Garcelle shouldn’t have had her kids at the event in the first place or they should have gone home early. The Two T’s In A Pod host responded to her Instagram Stories after she got a lot of hate from Bravo fans.
Teddi responded to one fan who had accused her of having a biased opinion instead of calling out Erika Jayne, 51. They said, “How do you tell someone ‘don’t bring their kids’ instead of saying @theprettymess should never have said that. You are so bias.” Mellencamp answered in a lengthy post, saying that Erika shouldn’t have said that and she should have apologized to Garcelle, 55, not just in her confessional. She continued, “Psa to all housewives – drunken full cast events never end up a good idea with kids. Think back to Denise’s party.”
But the fan didn’t back down and went on to explain that it wasn’t an ordinary event but Garcelle’s birthday and even accused Erika Jayne of being a hypocrite because of her reaction when someone brought up her own son. Mellencamp agreed with the fan about Jayne’s comment but added that her other point still remains. “If you see your friends getting out of hand at a full filmed event where drama is something everyone wants. Send them home. I am allowed to have both opinions. I would have also been upset if I were Garcelle.”
She posted a screenshot of her interaction with the fan on her Instagram stories and told people to cut “the online hate!” Teddi cleared things up by saying, “Do I think Erika should have ever done what she did. No. It was wrong and not acceptable.” The podcast host continued to say from her experience on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, “Full cast events get out of control. We have all watched that. When seeing that happen I would have sent my kids home once the chaos start occurring. This is a show about drama IMO.” Teddi finished her post by saying that people don’t have to agree with her. “That’s the point of opinions.”
