Lisa Rinna Blasts Bravo Producers for Only Devoting Only ‘One Episode’ to the Death of Her Mother!
Lisa Rinna has put Bravo producers and the network on blast for not giving enough attention to the death of her mother on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I got one episode of Grace. That’s it,” Rinna wrote on her Instagram Stories on Sunday.
Lois Rinna died in November 2021, at the age of 93.
Rinna announced that her beloved mom had suffered a stroke, telling fans and followers at the time—“I know how much you appreciate and LOVE Lois so I need to tell you that she has had a stroke, I am with her now.”
“So lets [sic] celebrate her and send her so much love while she transitions,” she continued. “I was so conflicted to share this very very sad news with you, but I know you would want to know. ???.”
Rinna later shared on Instagram that Lois had passed away, alongside a photo of her mother on her wedding day.
“5:05am Heaven Has a New Angel ???? ?,” Rinna captioned the November 2021 post.
Rinna took to social media over the weekend to call out Bravo for not properly honoring her mom. She complained that her mother’s passing was barely mentioned amid the ongoing cast drama.
Rinna shared a post from the Pink Pop Box Podcast’s page, where she noted that Lois’ passing should have been more heavily featured on the show.
“I’m shocked we spent 3 episodes about the word dark but only few scenes shown on real human grief,” the original post read.
Fans know that Crystal King Minkoff accused Sutton Stracke of making “dark” comments, seemingly referring to matters of race, during a shared conversation filmed last season. Bravo recently featured the revisited storyline over several episodes.
“Lois deserved and deserves much more shame on everyone,” Rinna reiterated.
The actress commented that it would be difficult to relive her mother’s passing, ahead of Bravo covering the news of Lois’ death.
“Grief is a tricky little devil. In a week or so, my mom will pass on the show and I am not looking forward to reliving this but I’m trying to accept what is,” she wrote on social media.
“I find it so interesting that rage has been so ever present for me during this time. I wonder if any of you have felt like that during the grieving process? I am having a very hard time but I’m trying to just allow space for all of the feelings.”
Earlier this month, Rinna was hit by controversy after fans accused the actress of using her mother’s death to deflect from her own bad behavior. Rinna issued an apology for lashing out at viewers, after taking heat for cosigning seemingly racist attitudes revealed by co-star, Diana Jenkins.
She wrote—“I’m sorry if I’ve raged on you, about you- it really has nothing to do with any of you. I never thought I would feel this way. I really thought grief would be about sadness and pain but it’s so much more. I am really struggling, I just never thought it would feel like this but here it is.”
Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Wednesdays at 8 pm, ET, on Bravo.
