Phaedra Parks Says Her Firing Was NOT Fair!
Phaedra Parks is finally addressing her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta!
Phaedra left the Bravo show after an explosive season 9 reunion where she was exposed for spreading lies about co-star, Kandi Burruss. According to Porsha Williams, Phaedra told her that Kandi and her husband, Todd, were planning to drug her and have their way with her in their sex dungeon. Now, Phaedra is speaking out about the incident and saying it was unfair how she was kicked off the show.
Phaedra returned to the joy of many Bravo fans to the Real Housewives spin-off, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 2. In a recent episode, she talked about her departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Parks started by saying that she wasn’t going to get into the situation. “I’m not doing that. I’m not doing that.” In a confessional, Phaedra opened up and said, “My departure was a crock of BS! There’s always two sides to every story, and then there’s the truth. And let’s just say there was only one side that was heard.”
Some Real Housewives of Atlanta fans sided with Phaedra while others thought she should have let it go by now or even be feeling a little remorseful for what she said. One fan tweeted, “Girls Trip was the perfect opportunity for Phaedra to to explain her side of the story and set the record straight on her firing. Instead she refused to address it leaving the viewers no choice but to remain on Kandi’s side, it was so counterproductive imo.” Somebody else gave a little insight on why Phaedra can’t speak on the situation, “Legally I dont think Bravo will let her talk about it since its a producer who told her he heard Kandi make the comment about Porsha. Kandi will sue her and bravo if it is spoken about again.”
When Phaedra was asked to leave the show, executive producer, Andy Cohen, told her that the other ladies didn’t want to film with her anymore. However, NeNe Leakes said she still wanted Parks on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But because of Kandi, it wasn’t going to happen. Kandi has made it clear that if Phaedra returns to the show, she is leaving. NeNe said Kandi was running from Phaedra by refusing to film with her. Another Bravo fan said, “Sick to death of this stupid story. Kandi and Phaedra have moved on, why can’t we? Do y’all think Phaedra cares if Kandi forgives her?”
