The Real Reason Dina Manzo Won’t Be Attending Teresa Giudice’s Wedding!

Dina Manzo will not be in attendance when Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas tie the knot next month, Page Six reports. 

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star reportedly has “no issue” with her former co-star and close friend not being a part of her big day and “is OK with it,” according to the outlet’s source.

“Teresa respects Dina’s wishes and looks forward to celebrating with her in the future,” the insider said. “They remain as close as ever.”

Recent online chatter alleged that a rift between Dina’s husband, David Cantin, and Ruelas was behind Dina’s decision to steer clear of the event. A source denied the rumor and pointed out that the men still follow each other on social media. The insider claimed that Dina is keeping her distance in order to dodge filming.  

Bravo has yet to confirm that the network will be documenting the celebration for RHONJ, but the insider claimed that there was a “very strong likelihood the wedding is being filmed.”

The source added—“Dina has made it clear that she does not want to be on camera, and Teresa is OK with it.”

Teresa told Page Six in June that her wedding event would “definitely not” be part of RHONJ Season 13, but quipped “we’ll see” when asked about a Bravo wedding special. 

Dina and her husband were present when Luis popped the question during a group getaway to Greece, in October 2021. She also attended the couple’s engagement party, which reportedly got Teresa’s other bestie, Dolores Catania, axed from the guest list.

Dina explained on social media that Dolores allegedly wrote a letter supporting the release of her ex-husband, Tommy Manzo, in 2021, after he was arrested for coordinating a violent break-in and attack on her and current husband, David Cantin. 

Caroline Manzo, 60, Dina’s estranged sister who is married to Tommy’s brother, Albert Manzo, also pushed for her former brother-in-law’s release, during his time behind bars. Caroline’s actions reportedly led to a falling-out between the sisters. 

Most followers of the story know that Caroline advocated for Tommy, but it was Dina, 50, who revealed that Dolores, 51, also campaigned for his release, via a letter. 

Teresa said during a May 6 appearance on ‘The Slut Pig Podcast’ that Dolores did not make the guest list for her engagement party because “I know her and Dina do not speak.” 

Dolores also did not attend Teresa’s May 50th birthday party in Tulum, Mexico, while Dina was snapped in multiple photos. 

Insiders previously dished to the outlet that Dina would have likely served as Teresa’s maid of honor if cameras were not in the mix. It remains unknown who will stand alongside the Bravo bride, with Dina out of the picture. 

Ruelas’ sisters and Teresa’s four daughters—Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, will make up the rest of the bridal party.
