The Family Chantel: Karen Everett SHADES Pedro Jimeno Amid Abuse Allegations!
Chantel Everett’s mother, Karen Everett, reacted to her daughter getting divorced from Pedro Jimeno.
News of Chantel and Pedro’s divorce surprised some of The Family Chantel fans, but some of them had already seen signs early on. Chantel was no longer wearing her wedding ring in recent photos and according to court documents, Pedro already filed for divorce from Chantel. He also claimed that Chantel took $257k from their joint bank account in order to spite him and transferred it to another account with her sister. In the divorce, Pedro is seeking equitable division of all marital property. In his petition, Pedro is requesting that the money be moved into an account that they both have access to and require that any other money withdrawn from the account is used for household expenses.
Chantel’s mother also reacted to her daughter’s divorce on her social media account. Karen Everett posted a photo of Pedro and Chantel, and it looked like they were signing their divorce papers. In another post, she was standing beside husband, Thomas Everett, and slammed Pedro for hurting her daughter, Chantel. The TLC star wrote, “THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!! FELLOW PARENTS! AS LONG AS YOU HAVE BREATH IN YOUR BODIES, DONT EVER ALLOW ANYONE TO MISSTREAT OR RUN ROUGH SHOT OVER YOUR CHILDREN!!! God Bless.” Chantel’s mother has never hidden her suspicion about Pedro’s intentions since the couple joined season 4 of 90 Day Fiance.
Karen was clearly referring to Pedro with her harsh caption. Her son, Riverknight Everett also liked the post to show his support to his family, despite he and Pedro growing closer over the years. The Family Chantel fans reacted to Karen’s post and one person said they hope Chantel gets to continue with the TLC show. “I hope Chantel and her family keep the show going. I would like to see how Chantel gets through her divorce and healing process, Winter’s weight loss journey, and River becoming successful. Pedro just used Chantel for a green-card. He and his family are trash.”
Another person tweeted, about Pedro and Chantel’s situation, “People always think that when a couple from this show divorce it’s because the foreign spouse only wanted a green card and used the American. That’s not always the case. Sometimes marriages just don’t work out. Americans divorce each other all the time.” Pedro and Chantel got married in March 2016.
