Married To Medicine Season 9 recently premiered and fans of the show already have an issue with Toya and her husband, Dr. Eugene Harris, selling their dream house. It is no secret that Toya and Eugene have been going through financial ups and downs on the show — that is why they decided to cut down on their expenses. This included selling their dream home that they had built after they got their finances back on track. The home had a two-story closet for Toya, a man cave for Eugene, plus a swimming pool area and a barbecue spot.

However, after they moved out of their dream home and into another home 5 minutes down the street, fans really didn’t feel it was the smartest move. One Married To Medicine viewer said, “Is Toya’s storyline every season going to be building a new house they can’t afford while Eugene works his ass off?” Somebody else spoke about Toya moving into a rental saying, “Toya staying in a whole rental house now that’s the problem she trying to live above her means that’s why they keep going house to house cause she wanna be expensive like they literally just built a house in 2018!”

The Married To Medicine couple responded to fans’ criticism about their decision to sell their dream home. Toya told viewers they should learn how to make profits from their investments. She said, “Money, honey. Just build another one. Learn how to make your money work for you.” Toya’s husband, Eugene, also echoed her comments on Twitter. He said, “The comments regarding the house are funny! Did anyone take the time to ask what type of profit we made in selling a “dream house?”

Most Married To Medicine viewers also had an issue with Toya saying that their previous house wasn’t big enough for her kids and insisted that she was keeping Eugene overworked to maintain their lifestyle. They said, “Toya is not a serious person…Talking about that house wasn’t big enough for adults and kids. Girl it’s four of y’all in that damn mansion. Be FR. Something ain’t right.” Toya and Eugene are currently building a new dream home that is expected to be finished by April 2023.
