Chantel Everett From ‘The Family Chantel’ Reportedly Dating Rich Dollaz From ‘Love & Hip Hop’
Chantel Everett has been spotted out and about in Atlanta with Love & Hip Hop star Rich Dollaz, amid her messy divorce from Pedro Jimeno, according to a report by Media Takeout.
Chantel and Pedro, “90 Day Fiancé” alums and stars of The Family Chantel called it quits a few months ago. Pedro filed for divorce on May 26 and claimed that the couple had been separated since April 27. He stated that their marriage had become “irretrievably broken.”
Pedro accused Chantel of transferring cash from a joint account only days before they split, in an emergency motion.
“On or about April 23rd 2022, the Defendant withdrew from the Parties’ joint business account over $257,000.00 of the Parties’ joint funds and transferred it into an account in the Defendant’s name and her sister’s name,” Pedro’s lawyers said in May.
The TLC star claimed he tried to resolve the issue but was unsuccessful. He asked the judge to order Chantel to transfer the money to a joint account until a divorce settlement could be hammered out.
Chantel stated in court documents filed last week that she was ending the marriage for reasons that included adultery and “physical domestic violence, as well as mental pain.”
Atlanta locals began to suspect that Chantel had already moved on with Rich, after the pair was spotted around town. One insider told the outlet that Chantel and Rich have been seen in public more than once over the past month. It remains unclear if the outings were professional or romantic in nature.
Rich has a reputation for wooing his business contacts, so the duo has reportedly attracted the attention of curious onlookers.
Rich is currently filming the upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, in Chantel’s hometown.
Chantel and Pedro connected in person for the first time in Pedro’s native Dominican Republic, where they got engaged. TLC cameras chronicled Pedro coming to the United States on a K1 visa, and the subsequent family drama that unfolded over the 90 days. The pair wed in 2017, amid family turmoil and eventual physical fights.
Court documents revealed that a mutual restraining order was filed on the same day that Pedro filed for divorce.
Chantel responded to Pedro’s filing on June 7 in Gwinnett County, Georgia, agreeing that their union was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Chantel and Pedro’s marital breakdown has been the focus of the currently airing fourth season of TLC reality show, The Family Chantel.
Rich founded the management firm, “Dollaz Unlimited” in 2009. The entrepreneur serves as the company’s acting CEO. The firm represents artists, models, media celebrities, actors, and authors. Rich has been a main cast member on Love & Hip Hop New York since Season 9.
The Family Chantel airs Mondays at 8 pm, ET, on TLC
