Mama June Shannon’s daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, is in dire financial straits, according to a report by The Sun. The Mama June: Road to Redemption star is reportedly struggling to provide for her large family, and can barely afford to buy groceries. Pumpkin shares four children, Ella, 4, Bentley, almost 1, and two-month-old twins, Stella and Sylus, with husband, Josh Efird. Pumpkin also has full custody of her 16-year-old sister, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

Sources spilled inside tea about the 22-year-old’s financial crisis and revealed how June allegedly reacted to the situation.

One insider alleged—“Pumpkin told June she didn’t have any groceries in the house, and she told Pumpkin ‘Well you better get on TikTok and make some d*** n money.’”

One source asked—“Why would a mother even say something like that?!”

Pumpkin and her family have been on a road trip from Georgia to Los Angeles in recent days, where the clan hosted a meet and greet, on Sunday. Pumpkin, Josh, 25, and their four children all attended the event. Alana and her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, 21, were also scheduled to meet with fans, who will have to shell out $25 to mingle with the WeTV family.

Pumpkin previously used TikTok and Instagram to promote an Amazon link that listed items that fans could purchase for her twins. She later removed the Wishlist link, in order to shift fan focus to the meet and greet event.

June, 42, shot down the idea that the reality TV family rakes in the big bucks in a May interview with The Sun.

“What a lot of people don’t realize that this filming doesn’t pay what people think it does,” the reality star said. “We all have regular entrepreneur jobs after filming- like [my daughter] Jessica works at a daycare. Josh works with a friend of ours. We have events that we go out and do.”

Pumpkin revealed last March that her bank account was sent into overdraft because of a minor bank error. She explained, via a social media post, that it only took a $650 glitch to land her account in the red. She wrote alongside an article about the bank account snafu—”I had the same problem with a charge for $650 on my card made my account negative and still have yet to figure out the problem!!! Don’t worry I’m about to switch banks.”

The Sun reported last month that June was raking in $25k per month from her reality TV career and various promotional gigs.

The reality TV star’s salary was disclosed as June was ordered to pay Pumpkin $800 monthly in child support. The child custody document revealed that June’s “gross monthly income is approximately $25,000.” The order turned over full custody of June’s youngest child, Alana, to Pumpkin.

The judge wrote—“While this is her current income, this amount is uncertain as it depends on production and endorsements and at this time, the show has not been renewed for a new season.”

“Her only certain income is disability of $1,050 a month. Therefore, the defendant is receiving a deviation of $1,228.93 as the parties agreed that this is in the best interest of the minor child. The final amount of child support that the defendant shall pay to the plaintiff is $800 a month for the support and maintenance of the minor child beginning on May 1, 2022.”
