‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Star Amy Slaton Welcomes Second Child!

1000-Lb Sisters star, Amy Slaton, has welcomed her second child, a son named Glenn Allen Halterman, with husband, Michael Halterman. Glenn was born on July 5, via c-section.

“The wait is finally over… Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman,” the reality star told TODAY in a statement. “The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!”’

Glenn weighed in at 5 pounds 11 ounces and measured 17.5 inches long. Amy shared a series of photos of her newborn son on Instagram, after announcing his arrival. One shot featured Glenn with his mom and dad, and another alongside his big brother, Gage.

“Welcome glenn allen halterman,” Amy wrote.

The couple’s first child, Gage, was born in November 2020. She spoke about meeting her son for the first time, on the TLC show.

“Looking at Gage, I just see his whole future basically, as he’s going off to college,” she shared in a confessional spot.

“It’s emotional,” she added. “You can’t really talk about [it] because you just love him so much you don’t have words to explain how much you love him.”

In a previous episode, Amy spoke about holding her little one for the first time, describing the moment as “surreal.”

“Holding Gage for the first time felt surreal,” she said in a personal interview. “My heart just melted. He was so perfect. His little fingers, his toes.”

Amy took to Instagram to mark Gage’s first birthday with her fans and followers. 

“Screaming happy 1st birthday. To my wonderful son,” she wrote alongside a cute mommy/son snap. “We love u more then you realize. You are kind sweet and little bit of rebel in you as well. I’m so honor and proud to say im your mum. Dada and i love you so much. You are our heart and soul…”

Amy opened up about her pregnancy on Instagram as the months passed, allowing her fans follow her experience, which included cravings for garlic and tacos. 

Fans will follow Amy’s pregnancy and parenting adventures on the upcoming fourth season of 1000-Lb Sisters.
