Garcelle Beauvais Gushes Over ‘Respectful’ Sons After Erika Jayne Fight!

Garcelle Beauvais came out to defend her sons after the latest trailer of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dropped!

Beauvais took to her Instagram account and praised her sons for their behavior after Erika Jayne was disrespectful to one of them. She began her post by saying, “This is an appreciation post for my sons Oliver, Jax, & Jaid.” She went on to say how proud her sons make her before adding, “you are loving, kind, and respectful. You show respect to people even when they don’t deserve it. Respect is a reflection of your character, not theirs.” 

In The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills trailer, a drunk Erika Jayne speaks harshly to Garcelle’s son Jax, 14, who comes to the table to pick up his mother’s flowers. Erika shouted at Jax and told him, “Wait, What are you doing here? Get the f*** out of here, get the f*** out of here, before you get in trouble.” Crystal Kung Minkoff, who was also there at the time, told Jax to just ignore what she had said as he walked out to meet Garcelle. Jax told his mother, “I just got violated for getting flowers.” As soon as she heard what Erika said, the ‘Love Me As I Am’ author went to confront Erika. 

She told her co-star that she had hurt Jax’s feelings with her words, however, Erika, who was drunk didn’t seem to take the situation seriously. Erika kept laughing and said Garcelle was pushing it. Bravo fans, however, feel Erika was out of line to talk to her co-star’s son like that. One person tweeted, “Garcelle Beauvais is much classier and better than me. I think I might have saved Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards a routine facelift with my bare hands had that been my teenage child.”

Somebody else added, “Erika Jayne will get laid out by Garcelle! You do not mess with her SONS! AND I pray that Garcelle addresses this very firmly on the show with Erika and she don’t get away with this. Alcohol/drugs isn’t an excuse for her behavior. @GarcelleB has the right to be upset/angry!” In a previous episode, Garcelle addressed her co-star’s newfound chattiness. 

Beauvais said it was a tactic Erika was using to distract from her legal trouble stemming from her ex, Tom Girardi’s crimes. “I feel like a lot of what she is doing is trying to distract so that we don’t ask her questions.”
