Tamar Braxton Back With Ex-BF David Adefeso 2 Years After Accusing Him Of Trying To Kill Her!

Tamar Braxton and ex-boyfriend, David Adefeso, were spotted together recently and it sparked rumors of their reunion. 

R&B singer, Tamar Braxton, 45, was spotted with her ex over the weekend. In a viral photo, Tamar was spotted walking around Essence Music Festival with David Adefeso following closely behind. She was wearing a bright green shirt as she walked alongside her bodyguard. The music festival had performers such as Nicki Minaj, Janet Jackson, and WizKid. 

David and Tamar dated from 2018 until 2020 when he accused her of being physically abusive to him. Adefeso had filed a restraining order in August 2020, accusing Tamar of hitting him while he was driving. In the documents, David claimed that Tamar punched him while they were arguing in his car. In the documents, her ex also claimed that Tamar also threatened to send goons after him. At the time, the court granted David with a temporary restraining order which demanded Tamar to stay 100 yards away from him. 

David addressed the allegations on his Instagram. “I’ve been a victim of domestic violence, of domestic assault. I was attacked never laid a hand on Tamar Braxton or any woman in my entire life.” He continued, “I’ve never, ever, ever, and never will ever put my hand on a woman. I grew up in a household where my parents were married for 50 years… and my mom and dad were the most loving and kind couple… I didn’t grow up in that [kind of] environment.”

The restraining order was eventually dismissed by the court after Tamar denied the abuse allegations. Braxton denied the allegations in an interview with Tamron Hall. “I am a survivor a domestic violence relationship, and not at any point [were] David and I in an abusive relationship.” She went on to say that she loved David and he was the best partner to her. Despite their messy split, David and Tamar’s sparked rumors of their reconciliation with their recent social media activity. 

Adefeso gave Tamar a shoutout on his Instagram during Mother’s Day saying, “ Then there’s @tamarbraxton, Thank you for teaching me how to love. And through all life’s challenges, growing together to become best friends.” Tamar responded to him saying, “Thank you @david.adefeso I’ve learned so much from you also… and I’m so grateful. God is so good.”
