Yvette Arellano breaks the news to her fiancé, Mohamed Abdelhamed, that their wedding date must be rescheduled, in a sneak peek preview of Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé.

“We’re gonna have to push the wedding back a whole other month because the one venue that I wanted fell through,” Yve tells Mohamed, who appears perplexed by the news.

Mohamed replies—”Are you kidding me?”

Yve explains that it’s difficult to nail down a wedding venue, due to high demand. Mohamed tells her that he doesn’t care where they swap vows  and suggests having the ceremony in their back yard.

“Well, I do [care], because I don’t plan on getting married more than one time,” Yve says, shooting down Mohamed’s idea.

Yve also dismisses the idea of wearing a white dress on “a pile of dirt.”

Mohamed is frustrated by the delay, which will push back his ability to work in the United States and delay a visit with his family in Egypt.

“Thing is Yve, my mom already counting the days ’til I go back, visit her,” Mohamed reminds his future wife. “I can’t leave without my green card, as you know.”

Yve asks Mohamed to be more understanding of a situation she cannot control, which invites a snippy response from her groom.

“Maybe you don’t want to get married,” Mohamed responds. “Let me know.”

Yve fires back—”Well, if you’re gonna act like that, maybe I should think about it.”

Yve goes on to call her Egyptian fiancé “rude” after Mohamed threatens to pack his bags.

Yve defends her decision to hold out for a nice wedding in a confessional spot.

“I really want something special. I mean, this is our wedding. Even before he got here, I would send him pictures of venues and things like that,” she says.

Mohamed reminds his bride that they only have 90 days to pull off their nuptials. He suggests a courthouse wedding, to get the ball rolling.

“So, why don’t we get married at the courthouse and file my paperwork?” he asks.

Yve becomes emotional, but Mohamed does not back down.

“I didn’t come to the United States to stay home. If she doesn’t want to file this paperwork, why did she bring me here? I don’t understand,” he says.

Yvette, a 49-year-old acupuncturist, and Mohamed, a 25-year-old fitness fanatic, are embroiled in religious and cultural clashes on the show, amid the Egypt native’s adjustment to life in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

As reported earlier this month—it appears that the couple is still together, despite their obvious cultural differences.

Yve posted a photo of the duo having fun in a recording studio, earlier this month. Her caption gushed over Mohamed’s ongoing support.

The mom of one confirmed the couple’s status in a response to a TLC viewer.

“I haven’t been keeping up with my social media but of course, we are continuing!” Yve wrote.

90 Day Fiancé airs on Sundays at 8 pm, ET, on TLC.
