Southern Charm’ Star Naomie Olindo Dumped Craig Conover Over DRUG Abuse!

Naomie Olindo returned to Southern Charm season 8 and teasers reveal that Craig Conover had something to do with it! 

Olindo’s happily ever after with Metul Shah didn’t last long after she found out he cheated on her. After their breakup, she hooked up with ex, Craig Conover, while in Las Vegas. Naomie insisted that her latest hookup with her ex was “a long time ago.” Craig is currently dating Summer House star,   Paige DeSobro. Before he and Olindo separated, fans thought Naomie left him because of his career. However, the real reason she left was his addiction.  

In his book, ‘Pillow Talk: What’s Wrong with My Sewing?,’ Craig wrote, “The endless nights; the booze; the struggle to keep up; and, yes, the Adderall, had kicked my a**.” He continued, “The consequences of living like a celebrity had finally arrived and beat the hell out of me.” Naomie admitted that the reason she left Craig was because of his drug abuse. “That was a big part of our problem,” she said. “It was that he was talking like a bunch of Adderall and he would stay up all night. But not do things that he was supposed to be doing because he was just like kind of cracked out at the time.”

After Conover went into detail about his drug abuse in his book, the Southern Charm star was so proud of him for opening up to his fans. Naomie said, “Because, as much stuff as I’ve said about him in the past and as angry as I’ve been, that was just not something that would have been OK for me to share with anyone. And, you know, there always are things that you hold back for people that you care about, even when you hate them, too.”

Naomie continued, “So it was really nice that he talked about that. I know that must have been really hard for him, so I was really proud of him for that.” Now, Naomie and Craig seem to have a good friendship. While teasing season 8 of Southern Charm, the reality star spoke about where she stands with Craig and Paige DeSorbo now. 

“We’re friends! He sent a really nice group chat to everybody … very friendly. [But] I don’t think that me, him, and Paige are going to go out, the three of us, and grab a drink. Even though I wish we could have.”
