‘RHOBH’ Rookie Diana Jenkins Breaks Silence on ‘Secret Call Girl Ring’ Rumor Tied To Her Released Book Of Nudes!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rookie, Diana Jenkins, has addressed the salacious gossip that circulated years ago after she released a coffee table book of nude images. 

Lisa Rinna brought up the subject during a cast getaway to Mexico, featured in Wednesday’s episode. 

“Have you guys seen her [Diana’s] book, Room 23?” Rinna asked, during a group dinner. 

Erika Jayne commented that the book was “really sexy,” but Diana appeared resistant to discussing the subject. The book, which was released in 2009, includes images of George Clooney, Lindsay Lohan, and even Lisa Rinna.  

The 48-year-old reality star admitted in a confessional spot—“I don’t particularly wanna talk about the book tonight because it took a lot of money, a lot of time to achieve what I did, but it backfired.”

A 2012 Jezebel article reported a rumor that spread after the book’s release, which called the racy collection of photos “a catalog of clients and call girls.” Diana was personally accused of running a “secret call-girl ring.”

“All these rumors started, it was like an offense of my character,” Diana stated.  

A producer asked Diana during the interview—-“So you’re not like an international sex trafficker? And madam of high-class prostitutes? Is that what you’re trying to tell me?”

“It’s honestly so ridiculous that I can’t even believe it actually could have caught on,” Diana responded, with a laugh. 

“It’s very very dangerous, all you need to do is leave a bunch of fake rumors and you can actually destroy somebody’s life,” she added. “It was just a very painful time, but truth prevailed. Everybody knows now.”

The other ladies took the opportunity to ask questions about Diana’s attitude after she stepped away from the dinner table.

“Do you think she didn’t want to talk about the book?” Dorit Kemsley asked, to which Rinna replied, “Yeah.”

Fans have been getting to know the Bosnia and Herzegovina native this season, and the reviews have been mixed. Viewers were particularly taken aback when Diana admitted that she had never heard of an outlet store. She explained during the episode that designers send clothes to her home and she either purchases them or sends them back.  

Diana fled her homeland during the Bosnian war, emigrated to London, and later married wealthy financier, Roger Jenkins. The couple had two children before divorcing in 2011. Diana relocated to California and was soon hobnobbing with the Hollywood elite. She now shares a young child with her 33-year-old musician boyfriend, Asher Monroe.  

While most Bravo “Housewives” reflect affluence and glamour, RHOC alum, Tamra Judge, speculated that Diana’s persona might not resonate with fans, during a May episode of “Two Ts In a Pod,” the podcast she co-hosts with Teddi Mellencamp. 

“She doesn’t know what an outlet shore is, she doesn’t shop — she has people do it for her, which good for her, whatever. And then she sends people to her hotel room to make sure that her back is away from the door and all these things. To me, it’s not relatable and it’s going to turn people off,” Tamra said.
