Ex-Wife Of Erika Jayne’s Husband Suing Him For THOUSANDS!

Erika Jayne’s husband’s ex-wife, Karen Girardi, is asking for the now-disbarred lawyer to pay the money he owes her. 

According to court papers obtained by Radar Online, Tom Girardi’s ex-wife has been trying to get her money since she filed in August 2020. Karen claims Tom is in contempt of court for not paying her spousal support from their divorce which was finalized in 1989. Karen claimed that he didn’t pay her for some months in February. 

Tom Girardi’s ex alleged that he wrote to her in February asking for his spousal support to be reduced from $10k to $5k. Tom was allegedly tired of paying and felt it was long enough. He made the request after her attorney asked him to pay up on back support. According to Karen, Tom eventually coughed up $40k that covered February through May 2020.

However, Girardi stopped paying and owed $5k for May, and another $20k for July and August. In October, Karen went back to court to demand that her ex pay up for back support in September and October. In total, she demanded $45k in back support. Since Karen failed to serve his firm with the documents before he filed for bankruptcy, her case was placed on hold. 

Since then, a trustee has been appointed by the courts to take care of his finances. The trustee has sold off some of Tom Girardi’s assets in an attempt to settle his debts. The bankruptcy documents revealed his firm owes $500 million in claims against it, and many of Tom’s former clients accuse him of embezzling money they won from legal settlements. 

The husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Erika Jayne, was ordered to pay $2 million to his victims plus interest. However, he is currently in a care home after being unable to participate in court proceedings. Erika spoke in May about Tom’s current health. “Tom lives in a memory care facility. So, look, I can only say decline and further decline. It will not get better!”

Erika filed for divorce in 2020 after 20 years of marriage and added that he still calls her and she picks up though they don’t speak for more than five seconds. One fan said about Tom and Erika’s situation: “So Erika Jayne can get on national TV and say the victims of Tom’s diabolical scheming could be lying…but she can’t show any remorse about what happened?! Make that make sense.”
