Pumpkin Blasts Mama June For Spending Thousands On New Boyfriend: ‘Bitch, Where’s My $50K’
Mama June’s daughters, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird and Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, slam her for spending so much money on her boyfriend.
In a preview of the June 10 episode of Mama June: Road To Redemption, Pumpkin slams her mother for spending more money on her new man than her children. In the clip, Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo read the headline from their phones: “Newly single Mama June spoils secret boyfriend with $50,000 in cars and rent.” Alana responds by asking, “What even is this?”
The two sisters react furiously to the post and go ahead to diss their mother for not using the same kind of money on them. Lauryn says in a confessional, “Bitch, where the f—ck is my $50,000? Because I could really use it to take care of your kids.” Alana adds, “$50,000? That’s a lot of money!” Lauryn and Alana have been open about their relationship with their mother.
Honey Boo Boo has been under the guardianship of Pumpkin since Mama June was arrested. According to Georgia court documents, Pumpkin was awarded full custody of Alana in April. She filed for full custody in 2021 after being awarded temporary guardianship over Honey Boo Boo in August 2019.
The court ordered Mama June to pay $800 in child support per month until Alana turns 18.
The clip ends with Lauryn saying, “It does make me worried. Because the last time she did something like this, she was off on a drug binge.” The Mama June: Road To Redemption star got married to Justin Stroud in a quiet ceremony in Georgia on March 23. Mama June confirmed the news on Instagram, saying, “I know you guys been seeing it all over the Internet so we are here to clear up some of the rumors.” She continued, “YES, me and @officialsmallz1 really got married back in March 23 on our six-month anniversary and yes it was so spur of the moment.”

Most fans of the Shannon family are on Pumpkin and Alana’s side when it comes to their mother’s spending. One fan tweeted, “How did Pumpkin turn out so well with a mother like June? Pumpkin has saved Alana.” Somebody else added, “Mama June spent 50K on a man, and didn’t even give her daughter pumpkin who’s taking care of her minor child, not a dime of it. She spent all that money on a man then got punked. WTF NOT A DIME TO HER KIDS, That’s messed up.”
