Teddi Mellencamp declared that she was proud of her cellulite as the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was called out by body-shamers, after her appearance at the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday.

Teddi, who rocked a hot pink fringe dress for the awards show, used a photo snapped from behind on the event’s red carpet, to address the blowback.

“For anyone messaging me that I shouldn’t have worn this dress to @mtvawards because you can see my cellulite. Guess what?! I am proud of it and most of us have it,” the podcaster wrote.

“Let’s normalize the reality,” the former Bravo star continued. “I work hard to for my mental and physical body to feel good.”

Teddi admitted that some of her followers nailed the vibe of her chosen dress.

Teddi laughed—“For those messaging that the outfit looks like I am auditioning for [“Dancing With the Stars”] — you aren’t wrong. It does 🤣🤣🤣 💃🏼.”

Teddi’s celebrity friends cheered her on in the post’s comment section.

“What cellulite?” asked Tamra Judge, who co-hosts the duo’s podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod.”

Jade Roper chimed in—“Sexy AF. Get it girl.”

Teddi asked her followers to weigh in on her dress choice ahead of the event, as she was considering wearing a purple floral piece instead. The Celebrity Big Brother alum later announced that she had chosen the pink,  which invited gushing approval from Tori Spelling, who wrote that she looked “amazing.” Teddi’s former RHOBH co-star, Dorit Kemsley, cosigned the pick with a fire emoji.

This wasn’t the first time that Teddi took on social media critics. She spoke to Extra in May after she underwent a neck lift, revealing that “everyone went crazy.”

“There was way more positive than there was negative, but I kind of wanted to point out the negative because people continuously want to know all the details, but when you give them the details, they are upset about it,” she told the outlet.

Teddi explained that she planned to keep her followers in the know about “the good, the bad, and the ugly” despite the backlash from haters. She encouraged fans to do whatever made them feel “beautiful” and “happy,” alongside several before and after photos.

The former reality star shared a screenshot of her exchange with one  Instagram user who wrote—”Ur a public figure trying to help women loose [sic] weight yet your getting a face lift to remind those of us who need one who can’t afford one how ugly we are Thanku.”

The accountability coach responded to the follower and defended her decision to be an open book about her cosmetic procedures.

“I am being transparent with my journey,” Teddi explained. “Would you prefer I lie and pretend the loose skin on my neck disappeared? That’s not who I am. You want to only follow people that show themselves through a filtered version of themselves then I am not the person to follow.”

“(Btw, this has nothing to do with going all in on your life – I changed my life 7 years ago and am proud of that and will continue sharing and helping others achieve their goals),” she added.
