‘Married At First Sight’ Couple Woody Randall and Amani Aliyya Welcome First Baby Together!
Married At First Sight couple, Amani Aliyya and Woody Randall welcomed their first baby together on Friday, June 3. The couple’s son, Reign Randall, weighed in at 6 lbs. 8 oz and measured 20.5 inches at birth. Amani and Woody appeared during Season 11 of the reality show.
The new parents spoke to PEOPLE about their birth experience.
“We’re so excited. It’s all so surreal and still feels like a dream come true. He’s so precious,” Woody told the outlet.
“We had an at-home delivery, so it was nice to create that energy ourselves, surrounded with each other and the birthing team,” Amani shared. “It was special and very intimate.”
The duo announced their pregnancy, back in February.
“We’re so blessed to be able to embark on this journey of parenthood as we celebrate our second anniversary together,” Amani told PEOPLE, at the time.
The reality star described discovering her pregnancy at about 8 weeks, after suspecting that she had “food poisoning from ahi tuna” after visiting Los Angeles to film the MAFS Boston Special.
“Woody hoped I was expecting,” Amani said. “I took a pregnancy test that weekend and got a negative result. After getting home and still feeling nauseous, Woody insisted that I take another test. I reluctantly took another test one Saturday morning and yelled for him to come in the bathroom. He smiled and said ‘What, are you pregnant?’”
“I nodded, handed him the positive pregnancy test,” she added. “He smiled so big! I kicked him out of the bathroom.”
Amani revealed that she still felt “unconvinced” so she took “another test and got another positive result.”

Amani and Woody’s happy news coincided with the couple’s two-year anniversary.
The pair took to Instagram to celebrate the marital milestone with their followers.
Woody wrote—“Big 24 months baby! Everyday of this journey has been well worth it. I’m looking forward to these next steps sweets. Love you and my lil baby.”
Amani wrote alongside cute snaps of her baby bump— “Today makes 24 months, I’ve been married to the love of my life, Woodrow Randall. The biggest gift of all is being 24 weeks pregnant with the new love of our life. Baby Randall coming June 2022!”
Woody, who was born and raised in New Orleans, was a teacher and coach during his time on Married At First Sight. Amani, a Northern California native, was raised in Chicago but attended college in New Orleans. The duo reportedly met by chance ahead of filming MAFS Season 11.
