PHOTOS: Mama June All Smiles At Wedding To Justin Stroud After Losing Custody!
Mama June’s wedding photos reveal the TV star was so happy as she said her vows to her fiancé, Justin Stroud.
Mama June, 42, and Justin, 34, first sparked engagement rumors when they were spotted ring shopping in Alabama. The duo got married earlier this year at a Georgia court in March and from the photos, they both looked so in love. Stroud and Mama June got married after dating for only six months. Stroud wore a white long-sleeved shirt while Mama June wore a black shirt and pants to their wedding.
In an Instagram post this week, June shared the news with her more than 100k followers. She captioned a video of her and Justin on their wedding day. “I know you guys been seeing it all over the Internet so we are here to clear up some of the rumors, YES me and @officialsmallz1 Really got married back in march 23 on our six month anniversary,” she wrote. The reality star wasn’t shy about revealing how spontaneous her marriage was.
She continued, “and yes it was so spur [of] the moment but if you wanna follow our love story make sure you turn [sic] into mama June from not to hot Road to redemption.” According to Page Six, the couple went on a honeymoon to Panama City after they said their vows. Mama June’s wedding news comes after her daughter, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird, was given legal custody over her sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson.

As AllAboutTheTea.com reported, Mama June lost custody of Alana to Pumpkin, 22, determining their visitation rights. Mama June was also ordered to pay her daughter $800 per month in child support until Honey Boo Boo turns 18. The documents also state that the Mama June: Road To Redemption star makes approximately $25,000 from production and endorsements.
Not everyone was happy about Mama June’s marriage news since she had just lost custody. One fan wrote, “Omg she is a MESS. Never without a man since she was a teenager. Always putting a man before her kids. Thank god her girls have each other!” Mama June’s marriage to Justin is her first since she was never legally tied to Alana’s father, Sugar Bear, though they considered themselves married for years.
Another fan tweeted about Mama June’s husband saying, “It’s so sad. Before that drug addict boyfriend they all seemed to be doing alright. Mama June ran off and married some new guy on a whim. Happy she’s with pumpkin now.”
