‘1000-lb Sisters’ Star Tammy Slaton’s Home ROBBED During Rehab Stint, Thieves Stole Everything!

Tammy Slaton’s $239k Kentucky home was recently broken into while she is in rehab. 

According to The Sun, Tammy’s home was broken into after she went into rehab. Her sister, Amy Slaton, had already moved out. Deputy Starkey verified the break-in to the public saying, “The burglary happened shortly after the Slaton sisters moved out.” He added, “The burglar(s) must have seen the home was unoccupied and broke in.” Tammy’s next-door neighbor was also robbed at the time and their sink was taken. 

The robbery suspects are yet to be apprehended but the investigations are still ongoing. The Slaton sisters think it could be one of their fans who broke into the house. Since the TLC stars have been keeping fans updated with their lives, they knew that the house was empty. The house sits on 1,975 square feet of land and is currently valued at $239,000. Tammy and Amy used to live in the four-bedroom, two-bathroom house before Amy moved out. 

From what TLC viewers have seen of Tammy’s house, they can tell it is congested and often messy. The TV personality’s living space is tiny and she is seen squeezing through her narrow doors and passageways. A source close to the Slaton family revealed how Amy found out the house had been broken into. “Amy found the break-in when she went to check up on her old home. Amy sent photos to Tammy. Valuables were stolen and there were signs of forced entry.” The source also added that Tammy is now thinking of selling the house if a crazy fan robbed her of her valuables. 

Amy Slaton moved in with her husband so that they could get space for their growing family. The TLC star has one child, Gage, 1, her husband, and another baby on the way. Tammy has been in rehab since late 2021, and at the start, she weighed over 600 pounds. However, she worked hard and was able to get to 400 pounds in order to qualify for weight loss surgery. 

Sources close to the 1000-lb Sisters star say she is getting her bariatric surgery in Atlanta in June. A friend close to the family revealed that she might be home sooner than August since she is doing so well in rehab. They also revealed that Tammy Slaton is planning on getting knee surgery also. Due to her weight, she has been struggling with severe joint pain and not being able to walk properly.
