Mama June Shannon Shocking Salary Revealed As She’s Ordered To Pay Daughter Pumpkin Child Support!

Mama June Shannon is raking in a jaw-dropping $25k per month from her reality TV career and various promotional gigs, The Sun reports. 

The Mama June: Road to Redemption star’s salary was disclosed as  June was ordered to pay her daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efrid, $800 monthly in child support. The child custody document revealed that June’s “gross monthly income is approximately $25,000.” The order turned over full custody of June’s youngest child, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, to Pumpkin. 

The judge wrote—“While this is her current income, this amount is uncertain as it depends on production and endorsements and at this time, the show has not been renewed for a new season.” 

“Her only certain income is disability of $1,050 a month. Therefore, the defendant is receiving a deviation of $1,228.93 as the parties agreed that this is in the best interest of the minor child. The final amount of child support that the defendant shall pay to the plaintiff is $800 a month for the support and maintenance of the minor child beginning on May 1, 2022.” 

Alana’s father, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson is not mentioned in the child support order. The document clarified that Thompson “never legitimated the child,” despite being recognized as the teen’s biological father. He, therefore, has no legal right to custody nor has he offered financial support to Alana.  

The final custody order, issued in April 2022, noted that Pumpkin has had guardianship of Alana, 16, since April 29, 2019. 

“It is in the best interest of the child that the plaintiff is awarded sole custody.”  

June, 42, was ordered to pay the monthly figure beginning on May 1, and every month thereafter until Alana turns 18. Pumpkin now has the legal authority to make everyday as well as major decisions for her sister. The mom of four will also allow “visitation between the defendant [June] and the minor [Alana]” at her discretion.

Both sides agreed to the arrangement. 

Pumpkin has been extra busy in recent weeks as the 22-year-old gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, via C-section, on May 19. She shares two other children, Ella, 4, and Bentley, 10 months, with husband, Josh Efird. 

Pumpkin was awarded temporary guardianship in August 2019, with the permission of Alana’s biological father, amid June’s spiraling drug addiction.

June currently claims that she’s been sober for almost two years. 

As reported—June secretly tied the knot with boyfriend, Justin Stroud, on May 23 after dating for seven months. 

The WE tv star’s relationship with former beau, Geno Doak, was featured during Season 1 of Mama June: From Not to Hot, which premiered in February 2017. The couple appeared altar bound before becoming entrenched in substance abuse. 

June and Geno were busted for felony drug possession the following year. They checked into rehab together, but eventually split, in August 2021.
