Jackie Goldschneider Demoted To ‘Friend Of’ Status!

Rumors have been going around that Jackie Goldschneider has been demoted to ‘Friend of’ on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Frank Catania just confirmed it! 

Frank appeared on Monday’s episode of The Morning Toast to shed some light on Jackie’s role in season 12 of the Bravo reality show. Frank said, “I didn’t know for sure, [but] I went out to dinner the other night with Jackie and Evan. And, yes, I heard. Yes, alright, she is a ‘friend of.'” Frankie’s revelation didn’t sit well with the podcast hosts. Co-hosts, Claudia and Jackie, expressed their disappointment in the network. However, Frank added that despite being demoted, Jackie was having her best season yet. 

He said, “I thought she had a great season. Not only did she come out with her respective eating disorder, which I know wasn’t easy for her… [but] look at Jackie evolving over time.” Frank praised Jackie for her growth since she joined the show in 2018. “She’s been on the show. She came on as a timid little rabbit to the point where now she speaks her mind,” he added. “I love Jackie.”

Jackie’s demotion was not the only secret Frankie spilled on the podcast. The RHONJ husband also revealed that Traci Johnson was axed from the Bravo reality series. “I heard Traci’s gone,” he teased, noting that “nothing’s definitive ever here.” Traci joined the show as a ‘friend of’ during the last season. However, when Johnson was left out of the 3-part reunion, many speculated that she had been fired. 

Catania also dished that the ladies have already started filming the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. He also said, “Supposedly we have some new girls coming on this year.” Frank’s statement only fueled rumors already making rounds in the Real Housewives circles. The Twitter account, rhonjobsessed, had confirmed that season 13 would feature a few new faces like Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, and Jennifer Fessler.

RHONJ fans reacted to Jackie’s demotion on Twitter. One person said, “I don’t know why Jackie would be demoted. Jackie has more going on than Melissa, and Delores. Melissa absolutely had zero going on this season. The whole season was about Louis, and the internet reports” Another fan tweeted, “Wow Jackie’s L is undefeated. She used her deepest, darkest plight as a last ditch effort.. only to be demoted.”
