Isabel Roloff Talks Self-Hate Issues!

Little People, Big World star, Isabel Roloff, recently opened up about her issues with self-hate and how she is dealing with them.

Earlier this week, Isabel posted several selfies of herself sitting in her car. Isabel captioned the beautiful photos, “Here’s to those of us still working on really liking ourselves.” She further explained to her over 100k Instagram followers what she was going through on Tuesday, May 31. She shared a few posts in her Instagram Stories of her nature walk and explained her issues further.

Isabel posted a photo of her hand on a tree with the caption, “Damn those body dysmorphic days hit different when you’re 6 months pp and have no idea what u really look like.” In her stories, Isabel was talking about her body now that she has given birth. Isabel and Jacob welcomed their first child, Mateo, in November 2021. So the reality TV star might still be adjusting to her new body. 

Isabel Roloff has cultivated a supportive and loyal following on Instagram since her fans flooded her with love after her IG story. Most of them encouraged Isabel and assured her that she is not alone with her postpartum experiences. She captioned another IG story to her followers, “Thanks for the messages relating y’all. Body dysmorphia is one of the hardest things to navigate but we’re working to like ourselves every damn day no matter how hard it is.”

Jacob and Isabel don’t appear on the TLC reality show since they explained that they’d rather live authentic lives than fake drama for ratings. On their YouTube channel, Rock & Roloff, they talk more about why Jacob stopped filming with his family. Over the years, fans have asked why he hasn’t gone back to filming when he has a YouTube channel filming himself. 

Jacob told In Touch, “There’s two ways to do the filming thing — one way is through the show, maybe, and the other way is through myself and vlogs. It’s just more free doing it myself, I can do anything, I can say anything, I can talk about anything — I can show whatever I want.” Isabel added that this way, the things he says can’t be misconstrued. Despite walking away from the show, Jacob seems to still have a good relationship with his family. Jacob and Isabel got married in September 2019 and currently live in Oregon.
