Mama June’s Daughter Pumpkin Gives Birth To Twins!

Mama June’s daughter, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird just welcomed newborn twins with husband, Josh Efird.

According to The Sun, a source close to the family revealed that Pumpkin, 22, welcomed a baby boy and girl through a c-section. They went on to claim that Pumpkin, Josh, and their babies went home a few days after her delivery. Mama June’s daughter gave birth at a Georgia Hospital which is known for dealing with high-risk pregnancies.

“The girl weighed in at six pounds, one ounce and the boy totaled five pounds, four ounces,” said the insider. “Mom and babies are happy and healthy and Josh is elated that the babies are finally here.” Josh, 25, and Pumpkin are growing their little family and will have their hands full with their son, Bentley, 10 months, and daughter, Ella, 4.

Pumpkin is yet to announce the birth of her twins as she did with Bentley last year. The WE tv star posted a cute photo of her son with the caption, “After being admitted into the hospital last night at 2-3 centimeters with heavy contractions our baby boy has finally made his debut. Everyone meet Bentley Jameson Efird weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces.”

In 2018, Josh and Pumpkin, then 18, got married in a Las Vegas wedding. In July 2021, Pumpkin spoke to People about her growing family when she was expecting Bentley. “Everybody knows Ella’s 3 now, so it’s taken me that long to get pregnant. Because for a while, I was on birth control and then I got off of birth control for a year and a half. And then I found out that I was pregnant.”

Pumpkin and Josh are also living with Pumpkin’s younger sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, who is 16. Alana Thompson moved in with Pumpkin due to Mama June’s issues with drug abuse. Mama June has admitted that she was “using meth until December 2015.” After reuniting with her ex Geno Doak, who had just left prison, it wasn’t long until the two started using drugs again. Things are going well for the entire family now; Mama June is currently dating a new man. June and Justin Stroud sparked engagement rumors after they were spotted jewelry shopping at a mall in Alabama. At one point, she was even spotted trying on one of the rings at the store.
