Stassi Schroeder Reveals Other ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Castmates Involved in Her Racist Incident!
Stassi Schroeder revealed in an interview that she was not the only one from the Vanderpump Rules cast who was involved in the racist incident.
During a May 27 interview, Stassi, 33, admitted that there were other castmates involved in the incident that got her fired from Vanderpump Rules. In 2020, Stassi and Kristen Doute were fired from the reality show after it was exposed that they called the police on Faith Stowers in 2018. Stassi told the police that Faith, the only black cast member at the time, resembled a woman wanted for theft.
Stassi said during an interview on the ‘Skinny Confidential Him and Her’ podcast that they were the only ones called out for it. “There were more people involved in ‘the incident’ that I was fired for. And Kristen and I, obviously we were not gonna take people down with us. So we were like ‘Lucky you guys, those of you who didn’t get called out for this.’” Schroeder also added that it is the only reason the cast was kind to her.
“So everyone was pretty kind because I think they were feeling lucky that they didn’t, that they still had a job,” In 2020, Stassi faced a lot of backlash for her actions against Faith Stowers after she spoke about her experience on the show that went viral. Besides Schroeder and Doute, Vanderpump Rules‘ newcomers, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni, were also fired after racist tweets from their past were uncovered.
Stassi spoke about the incident and apologized in a 2020 interview on the Tamron Hall Show. The former Vanderpump Rules star said, “I didn’t understand that just because something wasn’t about race for me, doesn’t mean it’s not about race for the other person because I’m bringing my experience as a white privileged woman to this situation and she’s bringing her experience as a Black woman into this situation. And because it’s about race for her, it is about race. And that’s something that I’ve realized.”
Stassi and Beau Clark share a daughter, Hartford, who they welcomed on January 7, 2021. Beau popped the question to Stassi at a graveyard in July 2019 in front of Bravo cameras.
The couple recently got married in Italy and the ceremony was attended by a few Vanderpump Rules cast members. Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, and former Pump Rules producer, Jenna Moshell Rosenfeld, were in town to celebrate with Stassi. She and Beau originally planned for an Italian wedding in the summer of 2020, but when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, they tied the knot in a private backyard ceremony instead.
