Twitter Goes After Lisa Rinna After She Dodged Rat Infestation Rumor!
Lisa Rinna recently denied that her house was infested with rats, but Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans aren’t ready to let the reality star off the hook.
It all began last month, when RHOBH alum, Dana Wilkey, posted a report on Instagram that quickly took off on Twitter and Reddit.
On May 13, Dana shared that a “source is now reporting that while filming the show’s 12th season, Sheree Zampino was bitten by a rat during an event at Lisa Rinna’s house.”
“Zampino was rushed to the hospital where she was treated for exposure to Hantavirus, a disease found in wild rodents,” she added.
Instagram account, realhousewives.only posted a screenshot of Dana’s report and added a caption that read—“This is alleged but if it is true, do we think she will be OWNING living in a rat infested house?”
Rinna took to the comment section to deny the report.
“To set the record straight unfortunately Sheree had covid that day not a rat bite,” Rinna wrote.
Rinna shot down the rodent rumor a few more times, even commenting—“Listen I know you’re all pissed at me but this is not true so if you’re gonna come up with this bullshit at least come up with something that would be believable and more interesting than this.”
Reddit users didn’t buy what Rinna was selling and many called her out—but that was only the beginning. Fans have been posting rat-themed gifs, memes, videos, and comments ever since the rumor exploded on social media—forever linking Rinna with the pesky varmints.
One fan addressed Rinna’s original denial with a series of the reality star’s past tweets, which reference a 2012 rat infestation at the home she shares with husband, Harry Hamlin.
Fans have taken rat humor to the next level to troll the Bravo star.
