Melissa Gorga Calls Teresa Giudice ‘Argumentative’ And Disses Jennifer Aydin As Fake!
Melissa Gorga believes that Teresa Giudice was off her game while filming Season 12 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Melissa opened up about the season during an appearance on the ‘Chanel in the City’ Podcast with Chanel Omari. The Bravo star claimed that Teresa was “argumentative” and that Jennifer Aydin created drama out of nowhere, during filming season.
“I didn’t get to have any fun with [Teresa] this season at all. She just kind of was in this mode of like, you know, she was very argumentative. She wasn’t happy to film this season. And she was very just in protection mode,” Melissa explained.
Teresa appeared to be personally happy during Season 12, having connected with her future fiancé, Luis Ruelas, after finalizing her divorce from ex, Joe Giudice. The show also featured Teresa and Luis moving into their first home together. However, Teresa was so protective of her “love bubble” that Margaret Josephs’ questions about Luis’ past sparked tension that escalated into violence.
Melissa shared that she often found herself stuck in between Teresa and her friend.
“It’s the worst position to be in because Margaret’s a very good friend to me. She has always been great to me… So when Teresa argues with someone that I’m good friends with, it’s always an issue,” Melissa admitted. “I want to tell someone they’re wrong, but it’s hard because it doesn’t just ruin one day it ruins Christmas and New Year’s and the kids… People don’t realize there’s a lot on my plate.”
Melissa said that she hopes that Teresa and Margaret will mend fences and that she and Jennifer will remain in a good place. However, Melissa’s decision to make amends with Jennifer does not seemingly align with how she views her co-star’s on-screen behavior. Melissa even hinted that Jennifer’s persona on the show is fake.
“Some people turn it on sometimes for the camera. And that’s always hard for me because I’ve been around a very long time. And I can see it coming from a mile away,” she noted. “So I get very frustrated, and I don’t blend well with that. Because I keep it very real. If I’m mad at you, I’m mad at you. If I’m not mad at you, I’m not going to make up a scenario. So I always had a hard time kind of blending with her.”
Fans know that Melissa learned that she would not be included in Teresa’s bridal party, as the season unfolded. Melissa’s husband, Joe Gorga, felt dissed by the snub, but Melissa pointed out that being part of a blended family comes with ups and downs.
“It’s just a very relatable situation. It goes on in so many families,” she said. “It’s very common to clash a little bit when you’re blending families.”
Melissa also offered an update on Joe’s relationship with his niece, Gia Giudice, after the show featured tension between the family members.
“They love each other very much… Sometimes people get in the middle of their relationship. But ultimately, I mean, that’s his niece. He loves her very much,” Melissa said.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on hiatus.
