Todd Tucker Declares Wife Kandi Burruss ‘Queen’ Of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ — ‘This is Your Show!’
Kandi Burruss is “the queen” of The Real Housewives of Atlanta according to her husband, Todd Tucker. Kandi has been a full-time peach-holder since Season 2. Season 14 premiered earlier this month, minus Bravo veterans, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams.
Kandi, 46, held onto her peach and even scored a new spinoff show, Kandi & the Gang. The successful songwriter, actress, and producer also enjoys success as a member of Xscape, a popular R&B group.
Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker, spoke out during a recent episode of Kandi’s YouTube show, ‘Speak On It,’ after he was asked how if felt to hear cast members diss his wife. Todd brushed off being fazed by the comments and labeled Kandi “the queen” of the Bravo series.
“When they talk about you I’m like, – you’re the Queen,” Todd said.
Kandi, who appeared visibly surprised, replied—“Huh?”
Todd then told his wife that RHOA was “your show.”
“They have to go for the throne,” Todd continued. “Like, this is your show. I don’t care what nobody say, it’s yours, it’s been yours, and you’ve been on it the longest. You’ve used the platform for what it’s for and people see that and they want that.”
He added—“When you pop’n, when you crack’n – people got sh*t to say.”
“It’s some natural haters on your show and they’re going to naturally hate you.”
The video quickly made the rounds online, and fans had plenty to say about Todd’s assessment when “theneighborhoodtalk” posted the clip.

Many people slammed Todd’s proclamation and crowned Bravo alum, NeNe Leakes, the RHOA queen.

While fans understood Todd praising his wife—many people noted that even Kandi seemed surprised by his remarks. Others pointed out that while Kandi ticks off key “Housewives” boxes like brains, wealth and influence, she rarely brings the heat on RHOA.
