Erika Jayne Reveals REAL Reason For Feud With Garcelle Beauvais!

Erika Jayne declared that she didn’t “give a f**k about anybody else but me” in the preview trailer promoting the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She seemingly confirmed such when she tossed Garcelle Beauvais’ recently released memoir in the trash, ahead of the premiere episode.

Erika continues to face ongoing scrutiny amid a legal firestorm connected to her estranged husband, Tom Girardi’s alleged misdeeds. The “Pretty Mess” personality opened up about the co-stars’ online feud, during an appearance on Us Weekly’s “Getting Real With the Housewives” podcast.

Fans know that Garcelle has been openly skeptical of Erika’s explanations about her split from the disgraced attorney and ongoing legal issues. She hasn’t fully supported Erika’s narrative regarding her involvement in Tom’s alleged embezzlement schemes—and therein lies the apparent issue.

“When [Garcelle] came to the group, I was really excited and she even said, ‘Erika was the most welcoming,’” Erika began. “It’s upsetting to see that Garcelle is resistant to what I’ve been trying to say and has gone the other way and that’s her opinion and she has every right to do that, but I have every right to feel how I feel about it.”

The duo’s beef began after Garcelle and Sutton unfollowed Erika on Instagram, earlier this year.

“OK, all I can say is, she called me something that I did not like,” Garcelle explained to “The Real” co-host, Adrienne Houghton, at the time. “And so, therefore, when somebody offends you in a way, I don’t want to see her posts, I don’t want to put a little like,” she explained. “So, I thought, I’m going to unfollow her, I don’t want to see her posts.”

“Did I know it was going to cause World War III?” the reality star joked. “Unfollowing someone is huge apparently because it was breaking news all over the place. Friends were texting me going, ‘I can’t believe you unfollowing her is such a big deal.’ But it is. I guess it’s a new way of saying I don’t like you, but I don’t want to tell you, so I’m just going to unfollow you.”

“People were outraged! She was outraged too, I think,” Garcelle added. “She could care less, I think.”

Garcelle confirmed during the show that the pair was currently “not friends.”

Garcelle later used a clip from the upcoming season to promote her book, during which she tells Erika, “I don’t have to make you look bad, you can do that on your own.”

Erika reacted by tossing the memoir, “Love Me As I Am,” face up in the trash and snapping a pic to share with her followers.

Erika captioned the post—”@Garcelle, even though you unfollowed me I’m sure you’ll see this.”

Garcelle’s co-stars, Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff agreed that Erika trashing the book was not the right move, earlier this month.

“I did not like that,” Sutton told E! News. “I think that when a cast member works really hard on something in their personal life, and they share it with all the cast members, to throw something in the trash, it’s ridiculously disrespectful.”

Sutton Stracke

Crystal agreed with Sutton, telling the outlet—”Sometimes things are unnecessary, and that was one of them. And I think we all should just support each other and, I don’t know. It’s never easy to walk out with your friends.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 pm, ET, on Bravo.
