Inside Sutton Stracke’s Luxurious $5.4 Million Mansion Renovation!
Sutton Stracke’s $5.4 million mansion is set to make its debut on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — and Bravo Insider is giving viewers a preview peek inside the reality star’s gorgeous new home.
Sutton Stracke moved into the posh Bel-Air residence after renting for a year, while the house underwent an extensive renovation. Sutton, 50, welcomed Bravo cameras through her dark front door, which highlighted the home’s bright white exterior.
She shared that she kept the original mantel of the living room fireplace, but added marble to help it to look “more modern.” A grand piano is surrounded by windows in an alcove.
Sutton’s large master bedroom features a king sized bed, a work desk, and a built-in white bookshelf. The bedroom also boasts a white marble fireplace.
“A lot of rooms in this house have fireplaces in them because it was built in the 1930s,” Sutton told cameras.
She added that she had handles for her bureau crafted from luxury Italian glass, because she collects Murano crystal, as displayed in her two bedside lamps.
The boutique owner shared that she decided to make her bedroom “very girly” because her divorce allowed her to make personal design choices. The single reality star also revealed a floral bathroom floor, a shampoo bowl and a tub.
Her huge, white walk-in closet features glass door cabinets designed to show off her high-end shoe and jewelry collection. Sutton’s backyard features a full-size tennis court and an in-ground swimming pool.
Sutton and financier, Christian Stracke, parted ways after a seventeen year marriage. They first met when Sutton was only 13-years-old. The ex-couple shares three children, daughter, Porter, 17, and sons Philip, 15, and James, 12.
Christian is the global head of PIMCO, a credit research and investment company. He is also the senior portfolio manager across the company’s suite of private credit strategies.
Sutton made headlines after the show featured the Bravo star seemingly minimizing the dramatic break-in at Dorit and PK Kemsley’s house. Footage of the burglary and the subsequent fallout were featured on RHOBH’s premiere episode.
Fans watched Sutton meet with Kyle Richards at her home, where the two chatted about the frightening incident.
Sutton said that she’d been “putting out fires all day” at work, after Kyle expressed upset over the home invasion. She explained that she was trying to bring in a French designer for her boutique, but that immigration issues had thwarted the process. Kyle pointed out that her issue didn’t “seem like a fire” compared to Dorit’s harrowing experience.
“Well, it is for me and my business and what I’m trying to do,” Sutton responded.
“I mean, I wasn’t held at gunpoint. I’m sorry,” Sutton quipped, adding “you know, it’s been a weird day, a weird morning. It’s like out of a movie.”
The Georgia native addressed her comments in a recent interview with Page Six, and noted that the conversation took place on a “weird day.”
“I never would want anything bad to happen to Dorit or her family, ever,” Sutton said. “None of us want anything bad to happen to any of us. That is the scariest thing and the environment that we live in, especially here in LA in Beverly Hills, it kind of set me off a little bit.”
“I just wasn’t there. I wasn’t being present. And so I think insensitive is the best word for [my reaction to the break-in]. And I was very sorry for it,” the SUTTON boutique owner said.
Sutton is also entrenched in drama with co-star, Lisa Rinna, over conflicting stories relating to an incident involving tickets offered to Rinna and her husband, Harry Hamlin, to a charity gala hosted by Elton John.
