Teresa Giudice Says Her Wedding Will Not Be On ‘RHONJ!’

Teresa Giudice is still preparing for her upcoming wedding to Luis Ruelas, but it won’t be aired on the Bravo reality show. 

Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa, opened up about her upcoming ceremony when Luis. Teresa, 49, did an interview with Entertainment Tonight revealing her wedding ceremony won’t be on the Bravo hit show, instead, it might get its own spin-off. “No, it’s not going — not on Housewives, no.”

When asked when and where the wedding special will air, Giudice revealed she is not sure yet. “I mean, we don’t know … I haven’t decided, so we’ll see,” she said. If Teresa gets her own spin-off, she won’t be the first housewife to do so. Bethenny Frankel, Kim Zolciak, and NeNe Leakes are other housewives who have had their own wedding spin-offs. 

When asked if she didn’t want RHONJ fans to see her nuptials, Teresa said, “Of course, I want my fans to see it, because they’ve been on this journey with me. So of course I want them to see it. I really do.” She continued, “It’s [also] something I’ll always have for myself, and, I don’t know. I’m still torn.”

Teresa also gave another reason why she doesn’t want her wedding to be televised. She said she wants to have a great time with great music at her wedding but she won’t be able to play certain music if the ceremony was on television. “So I don’t know… I’m very torn.”

In another interview with E! News, Teresa revealed Luis is also not sure about having their wedding on TV. She said, “Luis, of course, [being on television] is not something he signed up for. He met Teresa Giudice and … does he want to be on TV? No. But, if he dates me, does he have to be on TV? I mean, of course.”

Teresa and Luis met at the Jersey Shore during a vacation in 2020. The couple got engaged in Italy on October 2021. Giudice shares daughters Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13, with ex-husband Joe Giudice. The RHONJ star revealed that she became a little overwhelmed planning her wedding. “I just want it to be about, of course, Luis and I,” she said in January. “You always do things better and different at the same time. So I’m doing it, and I want it to just be about us.”
