Kathy Hilton Opens Up About Her Relationship With Kyle Richards!
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kathy Hilton, spoke on her relationship with Kyle Richards.
In an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider, Kathy spoke on her relationship growing up with Kyle and RHOBH star, Kim Richards. Hilton said her relationship with Kyle has been fun throughout the years. “We have a nine-year age difference, so obviously, at Christmas, I figured out Santa wasn’t real. But Kyle didn’t know that. So I was able to join in the fun with my mom and dad and help surprise her.”
Hilton shared other sweet moments growing up with her small sisters whom she took care of. Kathy explained, “She and Kim would wake me up on Saturday morning and bug me to watch cartoons. Or when I first got my car, they would want me to take them to the market to go and buy cereal that they saw on the commercials.”
Kathy also opened up about how she loved being Kyle and Kim’s big sister. Kathy shared some funny moments like a prank they played on her when she came home with a boy. Kyle Richards also shared fond childhood memories of Kathy Hilton during another Bravo Insider exclusive interview. “She was a typical grumpy teenager,” Kyle said.
Kyle explained, “She would show up at school with, like, her cut-off jean shorts that were super short, a tank top to here. She would have these big beer can rollers in her hair — I think that’s what they call them — like pink, purple, all these colors.” Kyle added that her sister was always very funny when they were kids. Kyle also called herself “naive” for believing she and her sisters had put their fighting ways behind them despite their “history” of being at odds. “I really thought we would never get in an argument again,” she said.
Hilton spoke to Page Six about her complicated relationship with her sisters. “I feel like my sisters and I, we have arguments, we make up, we’re blood. I don’t know if everyone is like that. The fact that we’re on television complicates things.” When fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Garcelle Beauvais, said she was closer to Kathy than her sister, Kyle became offended.
“It really hurt my feelings,” she explained. “This is someone who’s known my sister for two seasons on a reality show. [Beauvais] is comparing knowing someone from a reality show for a couple of seasons to a lifetime of being sisters.”
