‘Real Housewives of Miami’ Couple Lisa And Lenny Hochstein Split!

Real Housewives of Miami couple, Lisa Hochstein and Lenny Hochstein are calling it quits. 

Lenny, 55, spoke to Page Six and confirmed that the couple was divorcing after a 12-year marriage, despite previously denying the rumor. Lenny commented “Not true. Nice try though,” via email, when the outlet initially asked about the breakup chatter. 

“Lisa and I are getting divorced,” the well-known plastic surgeon told the outlet, via a phone call. “A few weeks ago, I denied this because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process. This is a very difficult time, and I would ask for some privacy so that we can best take care of our children who mean the world to us.”

Lenny also confirmed that he is dating Austrian model Katharina Mazepa but alleged that “none of this happened until after the decision was made to get divorced.”

Lenny said that the couple had “contemplated divorce for the last several years.” He has not yet filed for divorce from his 39-year-old wife. 

“I tried my best to avoid it for the sake of our children, who we love deeply. We have been living separate lives for months and made the decision to divorce last month,” he continued. “It was after the decision was made that I started seeing Katharina. This is something that Lisa was well aware of before it happened. Our issues have nothing to do with the filming of the show.”

Lenny and Lisa share two children together, a son, Logan, 6, and daughter, Elle, 2. 

Lisa commented on the split via a statement through a spokesperson, firing a shot at her husband. 

The statement read—“With two young children involved, as a mom I’m going to focus all of my energy and time on them. I’m blindsided by his behavior and reckless handling of the situation.”

A friend of Lisa’s revealed that the mom of two was not “aware” of the impending divorce. 

“She isn’t directly aware of any divorce talk but can assume the direction it’s going since he hasn’t been hiding anything,” the insider revealed. “She hasn’t been served any papers and hasn’t been aware that that’s the case and is just focusing on her children.”

The friend added that Lisa was “completely blindsided” by the sudden shift in her husband’s behavior. 

“She’s devastated and disgusted that he would do this to his children. The way he’s out flaunting it is gross,” the friend said. “She’s just shocked that in a heartbeat he would just abandon his family.”

The outlet reported earlier this month that Lisa confronted Lenny while he was partying with his new girlfriend at Miami nightclub, Gala, in the early morning hours of May 7.  

“They were all there, and they did have words,” an eyewitness dished, adding, “A drink was thrown.” 

“There was a showdown at Gala Miami this weekend,” another source said, alleging that Lenny walked in with his “new girlfriend.” 

The tipster added—“Lisa got in her face and yelled at her.”
