Little People, Big World: Zach Roloff Calls Dad Matt Manipulative & Cowardly Amid Farm Sale!
Zach Roloff has come out to deny his father’s recent claims about selling a huge part of Roloff farms!
After Matt Roloff put part of the family farm up for sale, not everyone took the news well. The TLC star announced the sale of the family home, notable red barn, and 16 of the farm’s 109 acres. Matt shared on his Instagram saying, “the BAD news as you can imagine is how difficult it was for me to put the farm up for sale.”
He also made it clear that he wasn’t happy to be selling the family land.
Many Little People, Big World fans admitted that Matt was throwing shade at his twin sons for not purchasing the property. He wrote, “My twin sons decided not to consider working together toward a joint sale. Both of them (along with their growing families) had moved on to other interests and investments and even a substantial family discount and a gift of equity was offered by both Amy and I.”
Zach Roloff didn’t like his father blaming them for selling the land. He fired back at his father in the comment section and called his dad manipulative, and his claims extremely misguided. “My dad is manipulating the narrative right before the season comes out. Once again like he has for most of his life not taking responsibility and for his own actions and blaming others.”
Zach also accused Matt of dragging the family drama he created in order to manipulate fans to his favor. “This post is a shocking new low of cowardice and manipulation of his family and kids for his own gain.” The 16 acres of the Roloff farms are listed at $4 million. On the listing, Matt writes, “I have decided the timing is ripe, after 30-plus wonderful years, to hand over the reins to the next owners of this magnificent property to plant some roots of their own and watch them grow.”
Many Little People, Big World fans in Matt’s comment section sided with Zach and accused the family patriarch of throwing his kids under the bus to make himself look better. One fan wrote, “You need to stop beating around the bush! If you wanted to do for your children and keep it in the family you would have!” Somebody else said, “It’ll all work out Matt. Do what’s in your best interest healthwise, financially etc. God always has this.”
