Little People, Big World star, Matt Roloff, is finally putting the family’s farm up for sale!

Matt Roloff announced the news to his fans on his Instagram page on May 12. The TLC star began his post, saying the cat’s out of the bag! “I want to make sure you hear the good news directly from me. Today 16 acres of the farm’s 109 acres goes up for sale including our original family home and red barn. It’s a tiny bit scary but mostly exciting. it’s time to move toward the next season of life.”

Matt also added that the farm has been a source of happiness for him and his family for the past 30 years. The Roloffs are actually the second owners of the Oregon homestead since it was built in 1914. The 16 – acre property is listed for sale by Luxe Forbes Global Properties. Juli Martin said the listing will appeal to someone who is looking for space, privacy, and security. “The kind of person who would love this property is somebody who values a peaceful lifestyle with the amenities of a luxury home in a natural setting and who is young at heart.”

The amenities on the listing include a remodeled farmhouse that has 5,373 ft of living space and includes his and hers Zoom rooms, five bedrooms, and an unfinished basement that could become a hobby room or gym. The listing also includes their 3,594 square-foot red barn with a TV production studio, guest suite, farm stand, and gift shop.

According to the listing, the Roloff farm’s soil is suited to grow Pinot noir grapes, blueberries, and fruit trees. Its trails have been cleared for mountain biking, motocross, and all-terrain vehicles.

Martin also added that TLC fans are welcome to bid on the house if they are interested. “The farm has also garnered a lot of attention due to its famous provenance, and we welcome all the interest from buyers who are fans of Roloff Farm and the TV show.”

They are marketing the farmhouse as an opportunity to own a hobby farm, vineyard, or equestrian property. The outbuildings could be set up for an artist, writer, crafter, or social media influencer. Matt Roloff had mixed reactions from fans in the comment section of his post. One wrote, “Good luck on your next chapter Matt!” Another fan wasn’t so pleased with Matt’s decision, “So sad you wouldn’t rather have your family legacy passed down. Family is everything.”
