Gorilla Glue Girl aka Tessica Brown can now breathe a sigh of relief after undergoing a successful procedure to have her hair unglued.

The procedure was carried out by Dr. Michael Obeng, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who offered to help the Louisiana woman free of charge after she made headlines.

The 4-hour procedure took place at Dr. Obeng’s MIKO Plastic Surgery in Los Angeles and was recorded by TMZ.

Tessica had unsuccessfully tried to remove the glue on her own. Even a 2-hour visit to the ER didn’t bring forth any positive results.

According to TMZ, Dr. Obeng used a mixture of medical-grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil, and a little bit of acetone to unglue Tessica’s hair from her scalp.

Dr. Obeng told CBS LA the mother of five is recovering well.

“Tessica is doing well. She’s awake. The hair crew is doing her hair.”

Tessica Brown recently shut down stories that alluded she did all of this for attention.

“I never was going to take this to social media. The reason I took this to social media was that I didn’t know what else to do. “And I know somebody out there could have told me something. I didn’t think for one second when I got up the next morning it was gonna be everywhere,” she told ET on February 9.
