Season 11 of the Bravo series premieres on Wednesday, February 17th.
“This is a fight that’s going to go down in history,” Dolores, 50, dished to Us Weekly. “And that’s not the only thing in this season. … I’ve never been so excited in five years, about a premiere or a season. … We showed up, like, we got more than we bargained for, more than we expected.”
The released season trailer hinted that Teresa made allegations about Jackie, 44, and her husband, Evan Goldschneider’s marriage.
“I know Teresa very well and I know what happened. It was in the back of her mind. It’s something that she had heard,” Dolores said. “I believe she heard it. I don’t believe it’s true. I believe she heard it.”
Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs and Jennifer Aydin round out the RHONJ cast for Season 11. Production was delayed amid the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, but Dolores told the outlet that the postponement did not slow the cast’s roll.
“We couldn’t have these big, huge parties [or trips] like we’re used to [and] a lot of the drama would happen at these places,” she explained. “Because the COVID, we didn’t have a lot to work with, but it’s the best season that you’re going to see in a very, very long time because each one of us has our own thing that we’re dealing with. That’s so relatable during the time. [It’s] trying times for everyone, right?”
Dolores Catania added that Season 11 would not be as “predictable” as Season 10.
“The season almost killed all of us, but the world needs this entertainment right now,” Dolores dished. “I’m telling you the producers at one point were, like, shooken [SIC] up.”
Dolores Catania confirmed that Teresa, as usual, will be in the center of the drama this season, but added that her new beau, Luis “Louie” Ruelas could be bringing out a different side of her longtime friend. Teresa and Louie began dating in late 2020, after the reality star’s divorce from Joe Giudice, was finalized.
“That relationship is hot. You’re going to see some changes,” the RHONJ star shared. “This guy and his softness … I’ve been there. I’ve seen this with me, [divorce] can really break you down. So, we’re going to see a different side of Teresa after all of this. I think that’s my prediction.”
As reported last month, Louie will not appear on the upcoming season.
The father of two has reportedly connected with the Bravo star’s family, but a source confirmed to The Sun that viewers will not get a peek into the romance during the upcoming season.
“He has not been on camera. The season wrapped when they were at a place where that would’ve been too early,” clarified the insider.
“The show is going to want to get to know him next year,” the source added.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns to Bravo Wednesday, February 17, at 9p.m. ET.
