The $16 million mansion that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Erika Jayne, shared with her soon-to-be-ex, Tom Girardi, was burglarized in January.

Police were called to the 10,277 sq. ft. Pasadena residence on January 22, according to report by Law360. It’s unclear who was at the house at the time of the break-in. The call was made around 11:15 pm.

Pasadena Police Lieutenant Bill Grisafe told the outlet that police found signs of forced entry through a broken window, after arriving at the residence. The authorities are reportedly unsure about what was stolen from the 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom home.

Tom Girardi originally purchased the California property in 1980, for $1.3 million. Thomas has been living in the Pasadena mansion alone since splitting from the Bravo star, who recently moved into a $1.5 million residence near Hollywood. Erika is currently fighting the former famed lawyer over spousal support payments.

As reported, a judge recently appointed Thomas’ brother, Robert Girardi, as the lawyer’s temporary conservator.

Robert claimed that his brother wasn’t able to participate in a hearing held on Monday, due to a recent medical emergency.

Robert also asked the judge to allow him the authority to place Thomas in a facility that treats neurological disorders, such as dementia.

“There was an urgent need for Bob Girardi to have the power to engage counsel in the bankruptcy proceeding on his brother’s behalf, and Tom’s court-appointed counsel clearly agreed, as did the court today,” Robert Girardi’s attorney said in a statement to Page Six on Tuesday.

Robert initially alleged that Tom Girardi “is incompetent and unable to act for himself” because he’s suffering from short-term memory loss.

“My brother is incapable of realizing and understanding the repercussions of the bankruptcy filings pending against him and his law firm Girardi Keese notwithstanding having [it] explained to him over and over and by various people,” Robert said. “Furthermore, my brother is not capable of making rational decisions with respect to his financial responsibilities and offers solutions and opinions that are factually impossible.”

Thomas’ creditors aren’t buying Robert’s claim, and appear to find it suspicious that the lawyer’s failing health comes on the heels of his worsening legal woes.

The creditors forced the attorney into Chapter 7 bankruptcy last month, and the court appointed a trustee to seize Thomas’ assets in order to pay his debts. The trustee filed docs requesting that Thomas be evicted from the mansion, within 14 days.

The trustee alleged that he had been trying to gain to access the property, but had been blocked.

The trustee reportedly asked “for access to the Property to enable his real estate broker to inspect it for marketing and sale. The Trustee was not provided with access for various reasons, many of which (including the Debtor’s health conditions) may not be resolved for many months. At the same time, the Property is not being adequately maintained and expenses of the estate continue to accrue including insurance payments.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo this spring.
