Season 15 of the Real Housewives of Orange County was short, but the newly released reunion trailer promises to bring the post-season heat.
The cast, Shannon Beador, Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, Emily Simpson, and Gina Kirschenheiter gathered—socially distanced—with host, Andy Cohen, to hash out the unusual season, and emotions ran high. Fans know that filming was challenged by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and that the RHOC women endured unique struggles as the season played out.
The trailer starts out on a light note, with Shannon mixing it up with her glam squad and wrestling with her Spanx, but things take a serious turn when the ladies take their seats to face off for the first time in months. Braunwyn predicts a “bad f**king gang-up on Braunwyn,” before she even takes the stage, and the ladies soon prove her right. Elizabeth comes in hot, calling Braunwyn judgmental, a narcissist, cynical and two-faced. The bitchy banter continues in a studio parking lot, where Braunwyn is strutting her stuff to capture some social media shares.
“She’s so full of herself,” Kelly says, as Shannon points out Braunwyn’s “big ego.”
The preview clip features lots of back and forth sniping, a mega “f*ck you,” and Andy Cohen bellowing a classic “ALL RIGHT!”
The two-part series kicks off on Wednesday, and fans will see Shannon defend herself over dissing Gina’s home, and snooping into Elizabeth’s past—both of which she may —or may not have done. Kelly and Emily call out Braunwyn for dodging her accusations aimed at Shannon. Andy turns up the heat on Kelly about her controversial comments about Covid-19, and Emily becomes emotional when she talks about Shane’s battle with the dangerous virus.
Braunwyn reveals a surprise connection with Elizabeth’s past, and things take a dark turn when Shannon reveals an upsetting past incident between Braunwyn and her daughter.
Part 2 will cover Braunwyn struggling to deal with her past behavior toward Shannon’s daughter. The mom of seven will also have to confront questions about her genuineness, her marriage, and her family life. Braunwyn’s husband, Sean Burke, joins in the conversation to respond to the dialogue. The ladies will deliver relationship updates and Elizabeth will share more about her upbringing within a religious cult.
A separate preview clip rewinds the contentious relationship between Braunwyn and Gina, and how a suggestive text from Sean put an awkward spin on the beginning of filming season.
